Both players were each given a YC. Referee must have know that the second player was on his 2nd YC as the RC followed. The procedures was a little strange. YC to one, YC to the other, then the RC for the 2nd YC. Then a RC to the first player. I think he released then that this was the first players 2nd, and not his 1st, YC hence the delayed RC.
ChiefBerry I'm sure he was meant to give a straight red for the first player, and the second player was already on a yellow. So he had to give a yellow to make a red
It looks as if each must have been previously cautioned (yellow card) and when each received a second caution it correctly resulted in both being dismissed (red card). I'd be very suprised if the referee considered this footage merited a straight red card - because a straight red, following a previous yellow, constitutes a more serious level of disciplinary offences - something that not all football fans realise.
depends on the ref. I conceded a free kick and as they put the ball to take it quickly i kicked it away and the ref just gave me a warning without any cards.
RogueSaint88 you were lucky. I'm a ref. That is delaying the restart of play and is a cautionable offense. Cards aren't just things we feel like carding. There are specifically 7 things we can give cautions for and 7 things we can send players off for.
Yeah I had a feeling I was lucky. I play in the top league for our region so you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd get the best refs. As a defender I have to make a lot of recovery challenges and tbh just this season there's been 3-4 I could've easily been sent off for but have received a yellow or no card.
That was a bit confusing what the referee did. What was the call. Were both players carrying yellows? Were the yellows given to two different players?.
Where do your referees go for training??? The one most important ingredient missing from all this performances is the use of common sense!! FFS train them properly!! Anyone can learn the rules but it only takes one idiot to screw it up!!!! Teach these mugs some common sense!!!
Context: both players deserved a yellow for their behaviour (which they got). If they had already received a yellow earlier in the game then 2 yellows = a red.

Kinda hard when you have another player in your face yanking at you.
@@raywhichway1790, it was the retaliation that won the red card.
I think that the second blue player involved received yellow. The retaliation by the fouled player was strong enough to deserve red straight off.

Why is he walking off like he's shat himself?.
must have been a fun game if they both got a 2nd yellow. could make a case for purple getting a straight red - orange for sure
I hope his coach made him go pick his shirt up, little cry baby
these guys are on the right field, playing the wrong game...
It's football...everything is an argument.
Just play the game
Some players want to be tough guys all the time
'What? We are in a football stadium'
ref made a good call
Soccer, where even kids can mouth of to the refs and it's the refs fault
As a ref i feel this
Well....Soccer....a name that is just used by like 3-4 countries while a game played 99% with the Ball carried with hands is called FOOTball....
Not this ref; I hustle whiney kids, coaches and parents out of games every weekend.
Would love to see a rugby ref do a soccer match. The back talk would end right quick.
It wouldn't though would it.
Agreed i ref soccer now and these punks think they own the field. Lack of respect.
Rugby players definitely talk back but it's usually the backs becuase the forwards are always winded 😂
@@tombowers6713 haha.
My teammate got a red card once for standing in front of the ball to many times when the other team had a freekick
I got a red card for shoving an oponnent and yelling, "get up bitch" then spitting on him
OdezZah i know 😔

Is there a team in America called Brighton?
Probably a high school
There is also a place called Birmingham in the US , I think .
Brighton High school is in Utah
The point is the white team player who committed the foul, would not be given red card , if blue team player did not got it who just reacted.
Did they both already have a yellow card?
#20 is a punk!! He deserved to be thrown out of the game.

itsinthenet yellow given to both players. But the boy in white had already one yellow for a different offense
the ref flashed another red card to someone off the frame though?
He gave both second yellow. Not realizing they BOTH been already cautioned
White got a straight red
Is this football? Coz the pitch look different
😂 it is a football field just not actual football
Utah High School Soccer
Playing football on an egg throwing field 🤮🤮🤮🤮
I hate that too and I’m American 😂 the absolute worst is NYCFC playing on a BASEBALL field
Play rugby.. Haha
Dumbest Red Card Ever smh
Wtf is this noob football
Two Future Republicans
More like future Dems; do something wrong, get caught, the cry about it & say it wasn't their fault. Society made them do it
