1968 Holden HK Monaro. Purchased by the current owner 15 years as a base model 6 cylinder car that he has rebuilt as a GTS tribute. Now presented in metallic Silver with Black trim with a warm 383ci stroker, AFR heads and a few go fast goodies built by Widow Maker Race Engines in 2018 and making approx. 500hp at the fly. Transmission is a Hughes Turbo 350 Automatic with a B&M 3000 rpm stall. Differential is a 9” with Tru-trac center and 3.5 Diff gears. Brakes have been upgraded to an electric brake booster and are WB Holden disks in the front and VR commodore disks in the rear. The suspension has been upgraded with Caltracs. Other upgrades include Electric water pump, electric fuel pump and thermo fans to keep it cool. The car sits over a set of original Convo Pro 15” wheels with front runners up front with 8.5” in the rear with red stripped tyres. The car has only travelled approximately 3500 miles since completion about 5 years ago.

Grille small chrome ribs should be black,chrome trim with red stripe missing from wheel arches.Rear seat back rest is from a HG model Incorrect interior door handles should include arm rests, does not seem to be silver mink paint color.

Is a hk body the same as the hg body ?
