The artist did an amazing job in this issue, the Jean Grey/Phoenix dialogue was a throwback to Grant Morrison's New X-Men perfection era, can't wait to see what happens next with Charles/Sinister and Jean/Mother Righteous.

I think Exodus and Hope make a really good couple. Mr Sinister is such a good character for these stories. When he’s bad he’s the best backstabber of them all but when he’s an ally he can really turn the tide into Mutantkind’s favor. I think Mother Righteous and Selene should have a battle.
Not gonna happen when Selene is unconscious and has her own Agenda that does not involve helping the mutants, only satisfying her hunger!
This story is getting wild and i'm here for it.
If Jean comes back now with the full power of the Phoenix, it'll end the story right there lol. I imagine she'll come back to fight the progenitor and be nerfed after that because the fight was so damaging.
I imagine that's why Forever will have the Phoenix "bleeding out"

Mother Righteous is going to get burned badly by the Phoenix. Never play with Phoenix fire. It's still too soon to unleash the Phoenix because we still need the next phase which involves the Dead X-Men miniseries. So we are still several months away before the mutants finally take down ORCHIS and Mother Righteous and the other Sinisters. I think Jean is more likely to become the Dominion at this point. Its either her or Legion that will Ascend.
I was thinking that too, my theory is Mother Righteous will try to use Magic and The Phoenix Force to attain Dominion, imagine a being with Scarlet Witch and Phoenix Force abilities, it would be omnipotent.

No, neither Jean nor Legion will achieve Dominion status. No mutant has ever become a Dominion! The OG HOX/POX established that is the post-humans who will achieve Dominion status, not mutants as their power make them redundant to be a Dominion. Also MR will be burned by the Phoenix fire because she is NOT actually wanting it but among use of it to achieve Dominion status

I love Mother Righteous! The best parts of this all involve her. She’s powerful and badass. You don’t know where she came from and even better where she intends to end up but I’m with it and patiently waiting to see where my boo goes. She’s definitely a sinister.

I love the Krakoan Age of the X-Men and it needs to last longer into new and future X-books.
No, it won't. This is the end, especially with Rise and Fall of HOX/POX being the conclusion of the Krakoa era. Mutants WILL go back to being hated, feared and hunted down and killed!
Yeah, they're keeping her out of the fight because if phoenix were restored fully, unnerfed, it would be the end of orchis, mother righteous and every other foe of mutant kind. It was the sinister stuff that was the meat of this issue.

Sinister first and for most is a liar.
I think they keep Jean incapacitated for now because right now a Jean with full Phoenix powers could easily fix everything that's going on now. If Jean were to go full Phoenix, Mother Righteous would pose no real threat. I think they're going to give Mother Righteous some kind of power boost (maybe by having her achieve Dominion status) before bringing Jean back.

That doesn't mean it should be losing it, it should be feeling like it's building to something exciting but I'm just feeling he's wrapping it up in several x-men cliches. So he doesn't have to work that hard.
Smh, let's prolong this for a decade? Jean has been one of my favorites along with Emma frost. They are different in so manY ways, but strong minded and skilled. I don't like how orchis is basically operation "zero tolerance" from the 90's. This just doesn't look like anything new which is why the mcu movies are now doing bad!

Mr Sinister was never a mutant he was a human mutate like Deadpool so it always mess with me see him on the island with the other mutants and being treated like a real mutant and trusted as much as he was but he's still alive they never killed him or did they kill him when the Nazi twins went into the hole

She is returning as PHOENIX fully and completely. The Jean with the dog collar is a not all Jean just her still in the process of being reborn body. Jean will get it together and drag Mother Bytchness. Read Jean/Fall of X. You'll love it if you love the Jean Phoenix entity.
