I really like how this comic dives into Cable's Telepathy. It's quite impressive.
Cable telepathy is potentially stronger than Xavier

I remember the original C o V storyline and how it kinda got dropped or forgotten. The way new x-line comics brought old villains and team and breathe new into them is great in my opinion.
The issue is solid, but I hope that Bishop and Cable call in reinforcements. Synch and Laura should be included in this story.
Bishop is my favorite mutant. When he tags with Cable the stories are always amazing. I love this.
I was just saying to myself how hot Bishop and Cable was backindaday. I'm glad there still themselves😁.
I'm surprised they don't work together more often considering they're both time travelers.

This is good writing. Science fiction is supposed to be big and imaginative, and this issue nailed it.

The mutant approach and CoV approach are comparing apples to oranges...the CoV approach removes choice which cannot lead to coexistence only control...mutants tried that in other timelines and still lost...its like yall forgot the house of x/powers of X existed...mutants did try this approach and still lost to phalanx...try and remember the bigger picture...choice is the only way two groups can truly coexist...humans made their choice to say no because mutants made some mistakes here and there as did some humans but choice is still important
The Phoenix 5 did just that.. and still...
I like teaming up Cable and Bishop together as two mutant soldiers displaced out of time and their home land.
The pivot of The Children of the Vault into The Children of Tomorrow is very interesting. As you said, without the mutant “threat,” they are feee to be of benefit to humanity.
So now we have a moral question, “Do the ends justify the means?” What is different from The Children and what Krakoa offered with their medicines? The Children represent a great change in how all societies are structured, but is that change ethical when technically done under coercion. Krakoa offered changes via Free Will. The Children have seized control through duplicitous means. Does that matter though?
Some of the philosophical questions coming out of the Fall of X are just as interesting as the ones generated by the rise.

First off for all Bishops "hiding" he sports and X jacket.
But over all I find it funny everybody wanted to get rid of mutants just to learn that the Children of the Vault are evolved and super powered humans. Like trading mutants for evolved people. Still with powers that do what they think is right.
Racism and Bigotry never makes sense.
I tought Serafina was free from that prison . She even let Forge get away from the vault with Laura (now Talon) . This is interesting approach where they go with this comic .
The CoT thing was like the Pheonix Five without the ulterior motive and no one against them
Children of the Vault would be awesome as a live-action feature.
Maby as a antaganist in a new Xmen movie.
I do agree mutants shouldve helped poor ppl more it was the easiest win. Im sure people will turn on the children soon. Either way Im loving Cable and Bishop united together

They did that the first time in avengers vs x-men.. The avengers had a fit causes they were feeding the word and stopping wars. "this isn't natural." cap said. we been trying to fix the world for years and got nowhere.. they just do it over night? they got to go.
That's a simplistic way to look at it. The Phoenix is a force of destruction.
On its way to earth it was annihilating alien civilizations.
Namor flooded Wakanda Cyclops killed people on a bridge and even Prof X.

Bishop spent decades trying to kill Cable's infant daughter.

Solid issue i like cable and bishop going back into their freedom fighter roots. The children of the atom i like how thy are portrayed as mankind's saviors or destruction
C of V needs their own series and them upgrading life for the poor first is pure genius
This is the one comic i miss buying because of budget i got immortal and avengers. I might have to check this one out next week. Great video.

This one of the few subplot titles that actually seems intriguing. I am very interested to see how Orchis will deal with the COT. We know Orchis is unwilling to cede or share power. This meta virus reminds me of the logic plague in Halo instead of driving the host mad it makes them pliant and loyal.

I can't wait for Darwin's return and seeing his upgrades after being in the vault for so long. I missed a good Bishop and Cable team up. Im looking forward to this mini-series. It would be interesting if Forge ended up making an appearance to fit them with some new tech. Also, Orchis probably doesn't care because they know the CoV are equipped with machinery and not mutants.
I remember from inferno they talked about the childrens invasion and how it was stopped by Apocolypse.
But imagine if the Children on some level really were benevolent.
Orchis and the Children of the Vault appear similar but have different end goals.They will come into conflict.

Also i think mutanta did try to win the poor, krakoan medicine was mainly for the poor,in my opinion.
I really enjoyed this one. The only detail that has me face palming is Orchis saying the children are a secondary concern to the mutants who they've already defeated. The children of the vault are so powerful in this timeline that the mutants opted to contain rather than eliminate them. Orchis, on the other hand, struggled to fight the mutants and had to hatch a pretty elaborate scheme just to beat them. I'm actually looking forward to an encounter between Orchis and the children.

Weird intro with Seraphina, because when Forge snuck into the vault, Seraphina caught him and she already knew all about his trap outside the vault and she was fine with it because she had the same curiosity as Forge, what would happen with the other race if left to live instead of killing them.. So its weird she was both caught in the trap and is angry about it.

Good bit of analysis about the arrogance of the mutants.
And what supports it is that the two heroes are supposedly being hunted by a world turned against them but are still wandering round in broad daylight on crowded streets in very obvious X-Men costumes. It's like they can't put two and two together.

their big plan here is probably still gonna have them fighting over the other heroes/villains who haven't fallen to the virus, but with the public opinion being positive for them there wouldn't be much against their actions even if they end up killing the heroes like in the simulation. also important to remember that was just the simulation, its not an assured thing for the children be actually strong enough to beat everyone else once they strike, that could have just been how they dreamed their success would be like.
These kids are gonna be a proooblem...
So basically, mutants should have just telepathically forced everyone to accept their ideas like CoV with their mind virus and this all would have been avoided.
Not necessarily they could of helped the poor was more the point I made. Win the people win the war
@comicbreakdown It's been years, so I could be wrong; but I thought they did do outreach help at the beginning for other people/ counties as well. Granted, they were also trying to bring in mutants that were stranded or not allowed to join Krakoa. They also could have just given out medicine instead of saying, "Treat us like equals, and you get the medicine." I seem to recall a lot more, "Go to hell mutie scum!" when Krakoa was trying to be positive at the start. As opposed to shrugging and letting the Children of Tomorrow do what they want.
@@adampetra7865them giving out medicine for free would not have helped any.maybe temporary but as shown multiple times in the comics,humans no matter what hold that fear of mutants

Mutants should not have gone this direction facts are Apocalypse did this, this was one of his early plays. Subjugate with kindness give the people everything and they will serve, the people went we want for nothing other than you gone. Orcsis is waiting for the Children to show their true intentions.
Bishop slumming it in his revolution, while Cable had the most advanced base dating back when tubes and the wheel were groundbreaking.

Good point. The children did something immediately that mutants probably should’ve started with. Help the most vulnerable, and you gain permanent allies. Forge was going to do that, but it just came too late. Mutants already let ORCHIS get one over on them too many times and apparently hadn’t bothered to even counter them.

@@Praisethesunson I wouldn’t say that. Mutants did create medicines to help people and those medicines were vital. I think the fact that the children just straight up gave their technology to the poor regardless of waiting for their government’s approval or having to fight for it, just spoke volumes. Mutants announced themselves and made their declarations, but the children just DID IT. I think that’s the difference. The children have no interest in being acknowledged or recognized as a nation. They’re not trying to negotiate with anybody first.

They actually explained this in HOX/PoX… the medicines were only the first thing that they would do. But there was a plan to do all of this. It was a gesture of good will to the govts of the world. And it’s quite intentional and obvious that their goal was to play by the geopolitical rules set by their present circumstances as a fledgling nation.
Mind you, the economic benefit to the poor of Krakoan medicine is probably immeasurable. Asking nothing of the people themselves but only for their governments to recognize the new nation. Let’s not just throw that aside. If tmrw someone came along and cured cancer those people are instantly less poor for it. And some wld be richer for it.

Children of the vault finally getting that big break they've wanted for so long. All it took was someone else to massacre mutantkind again teehee. Silly humans feeling like bargaining chips.
I like the children of the vault idea....but they are basically just mutants and basically doing exactly what mutants just did in Hox/Pox....or in Avengers v X-men.....so how long until they end up teaming up w/ mutants?

If the Marvel X-titles really have tight editorial with regards to the X-titles, then it really should be the Children of the Vault versus ORCHIS for world supremacy. Also, wasn't KID Cable also captured by ORCHIS? What happened to the Kid version of Cable that was captured by ORCHIS? That's a rather glaring absence of continuity.

Children of the vault don’t fear humans. Holding them back is the only way to stop them from killing all of mutant kind. We’ve seen a simulation in the x-men recent titles that shows the children take over earth and kill mutant kind in like a week

Haven't seen good Bishop writing since messiah war. This also falls short of the mark. A military commander in his own time, as well as captain commander in this time and still not resourceful. Explain to me how he can go from knowing every workshop and weapons cash in the world in messiah's war but relegated to a hobo sleeping under bridges now? In addition, in Extreme X men as well as other books, Bishop said he was anoculated against viruses,drugs, and combat nanites in our time. His powers also make it hard for telepathic attacks. This is just poorer and lazier writing from people who don't understand the character. Lastly, where is all of his tech? 🤔 smh.... Let's see how this goes. I'm happy he's getting some play finally, and hopefully, he'll get a new kickass uniform.

Ehh tbh a big chunk of the reason mutants didn’t do this is because of plot convenience or writers choosing not to explore this route because it’d solve allot of mutants problems, and u can’t convince me not one nor 100 mutants haven’t thought about it especially considering there’s a lot of mutants that come from poverty.
