Anybody play for a Christmas program this year? What was your favorite song?
Playing aux perc. (Including bells/shaker/standing bass drum/etc) and top 2 favs are O Holy Night by the Sing Team and Do you Hear What I Hear by The Eagle & Child 🔥🤙
Yessir. Played for one last Friday where we did a different arrangement of this song. Playing for a second concert service this evening with some other arrangements on piano, keys and bass
He shall reign forever more - Chris Tomlin.. I'm playing 25th 👍🏼
Mine was o holy night by Hillsong worship 😋🔥
Yes, oh holy night version by mcclures. I was playing bass for that service.
Uuuuf that level! 🔥
Nice video, would love to see some beginner/intermediate drum fill tutorials

Cool
This is fire
Thanks!
Looking forward to the day musicians can get back to playing and not worrying about being under the the illusion of being “perfect”.
Well said. It's important to get the technical details right, yes, but always remeber to have fun!
Exactly 💯💯
Yeah but some musician use "illusion of being perfect" To hide their "lack of exercise" 🙃
Hey man! I’m not really sure what you mean by this comment, or why it applies to this video. I’d love for you to elaborate on what you mean, because I think I agree with you and don’t feel the need to be “perfect.” I even post videos showing how much I mess up to help normalize it 😂
@DanielBernard This video popped up in my feed and it was just a rant on the state of music (especially in churches) I’m certainly not attacking you, but music in general has become so cookie - cutter and frankly stale. If a pastor relied on pre-recorded sermons, we would find that unacceptable. Music is too powerful and tracks have become a huge crutch.
What kind of electric kit is this
🎶〰️🔥
How do you find the electric drums playing wise vs acoustic kit?
I prefer acoustic for sure, but I'm getting this electric kit more and more dialed in! It's a necessity for the time being with our church sanctuary being remodeled and being in a gym!
@@DanielBernard cool. I'm curious because our sound guy is pushing for an electric kit. We have a fairly small hall and the drums are always a bit too much.
I used to drum (these days worship leader /guitar/keys/bass )and really loved acoustic kits.
I much prefer acoustic but I'm starting to wonder if electric is just far more practical in many situations
Is this a Pentecostal church?
Yes!
