Short, long, or just a still shot, I enjoy them all due to varied content and spontaneity. Only shortcoming I have is that I quite often can't hear Emma's input which is probably my equipment, both HP laptop and my own personal hearing issues. Slowly but surely, Lenny's transformation is unfolding.
Oh yeah, the mic never picks up her voice when we're moving. It's only loud when she's right there next to you, otherwise it doesn't carry at all! 😂
Maybe a wireless mic would help.

I just bought a Lectric xp 3.0 to ride trails.
That was fun. I know people have a short attention span, which is probably why tik tok short videos are popular. I also wonder if it matters on length of video when one watches on a large tv as opposed to the computer or phone ? Anyway, you could do short version and long version of the same vid, I should think, but too much more work for you. I do enjoy your discussions while you guys are riding/working/whatever.
Also, not all states have the stop is yield laws for bicycles, so it must be confusing to someone from another state that doesn't when a bike zips through a stop sign? I will always stop and look both ways, but I don't have an e-bike. And I'm extra cautious. I remember being in Corvallis college area and bicyclists would cross an intersection diagonally without stopping while I was driving through it!!!! Like, REALLY? I mean, body parts are yukky to clean off the bumper...oh well. 😹
That's very true! I refuse to do those type of short videos because I don't care for them myself, but people do want that! I refuse to contribute to that form of empty entertainment, myself, but I can see the appeal, I suppose. I've done a bit of research into the algorithms that Google uses to promote videos or channels, and it doesn't appear to matter which device the content is consumed on, but it's really about the topic of the content, how long someone watches compared to the rest of your content, and whether they return again for another video or not. Being that this is the case, unfortunately our entire channel would suffer if I did two versions of the videos, which is wild! Some videos with similar (identical, just cut down) content would do so poorly it would bring down the average, and down we go lol
Very true! There are only a few states currently with legislation allowing the yield at stop sign (and even red traffic light as stop sign), which are Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho (the first!), N. Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah and Washington. I'm surprised it's not more, but I don't think people fully understand it. It doesn't exempt the rider from responsibility and does require a proper stop if there's another vehicle in the intersection with the right of way. So if I get splattered across the hood and didn't yield correctly, I'm correctly held responsible! Bicyclists have greater incentive to yield, as they are at high risk for injury at
intersections, so the risk is certainly even lower than without this law, given the decreased chances of being rear-ended. I thought that was cool! People biking across an intersection without the right of way is just moronic though... Those would be people even I would scream at. Or just activate Lenny's noise maker lol

@@CozyLivingMachine I did like your short with the flag though lol. Did you order a new flagpole? (and I forgot to add, man, they waste a lot of wood and stuff on those jobsites. Ugh. Well, I grew up with the "don't throw anything away, we might use it later", which can be a good thing or a bad thing. Bad for me right now, since I have a storage container full of "stuff" to go through).

Ive noticed your bike is significantly quieter than others ive watched on UA-cam! Did they update the motor with a better one or something?? Im VERY interested in this bike. Great video be safe. Fort Worth here has much more trails to ride along the rivers and great places for food also. How tall are you and Emma? Im 6'1" 150lbs and just trying to get an idea fit for me on this bike. ✌️
It's possible that they changed the motors, but both of these bikes are identical, and I know my RadRover 6+ was much louder (and thus sounded "faster" when passing people) than this! I'm 5'11" and Emma is 5'8". I know that the seat height will be no problem at all, but I would suggest a handlebar riser or some sort of mod there for you!
My guess as to why some don't like bicyclists is because they're typically slow (compared to cars). People are often in a hurry now, and if they're legally not allowed to pass for whatever reason, that could make many upset. Also, some could just be jealous because you can cut in line at the traffic lights 😆 Also, if you see LGBT/trans flags in an elementary school, run lol
