Hello! There are some space behind certain back row seats and also in the luggage compartment to store the luggage. The overhead space is small, so try not to put a big luggage 😉

Hello! This was taken during the 3rd week of Dec 2023 :) there was a little bit of snow at Nagano station and more up the mountains when we went to see snow monkeys! All the best to you in chasing snow! ❄️

Hi sugaica, this is the World Heritage Bus and it runs with a daily schedule that can be found online :) there is also a tourist information centre at Shin-Takaoka JR station where you can get the bus timings.

Yes we did. There are certain local trains included in the pass. Do check out the JR website for details :)

There are luggage racks! If those are taken, sometimes we put it behind the last row of the seats!

@sugaica When we went in December, it was relatively empty and the bus came on time. We cannot advise about reservations because we didnt try😅

4 nights in Tokyo, 1 night in ryokan in Nagano, 2 nights in Toyama, 3 nights in Kyoto, 3 nights in Osaka. Hope this helps :)
Why not prefer using plane? Osaka-tokyo it is almost 4x cheaper
We wanted to explore other parts of Japan along the way :)
