the tuning between the transmission and engine does not seem to have been perfected. But, to your point, it probably is tuned well to the traffic in Mumbai.
@@rogerrussell9544 It is not a first year engine lol. Did you guys not watch the video ? It has been used since 2022. It is the first year, that it has been put into the Ram trucks. I don’t trust it though myself. Ford has been doing it 14 years and only improved the motor over 3 generations. This could be a very reliable motor, Idk. It will likely encounter bugs and issues though.
@@calebniederhofer6529 You sound a bit thick. The reason you (well, reasonable people so perhaps not you) avoid new engines is the problems that need worked out. Stellantis hasn't done that with this engine, in fact the placement in this model for it's first year has caused problems with the transmission, you would know that if you paid attention to the video. The engine is not reliable, it has thermal management issues and has even reported melted catalysts. Tavares used the cheapest components possible, which were so borderline capable he had to use upgraded components in the HO version of the engine. Go away and leave the adults alone.
@@rogerrussell9544 I simply responded to the post, which was incorrect. I am aware of these motors. I sold for Ford prior and almost pulled the trigger on a 25 Ram. The truth is that the reliability is unknown. There is not enough data out there yet. The 8 speed is also a bulletproof transmission. What you see on the internet could be 1 out of hundreds of trucks, It is too early to tell. So yea, what you are saying is not based off data either and just some forum or UA-cam video. It could very well be true, but there is not enough data to make these claims or know yet. After about 6-12 months, time will tell. What I said correct. This is not first year motor, It has been used a few years now. Now, will it stand up to towing and truck use, Idk. I never said anything incorrect. The electrical and everything outside of the motor is different on the Ram, so only time will tell.
I have no engine issues with my 2025 HO. But I do have an issue with the cruise control not working. I have a warning light on for the cruise control.
Sure sounds like a Hemi in the truck in the video
@@MrGomjabber it is
I drive 24 f 350 10 speed bangs don't grab right gear total junk to
Yep stay away from the 10-speed it is junk Ford Chevy. That's why you buy the ZF 8-speed if that's possible.
8 speed started in 2013 ,it is bulletproof ..but it is shit in 2025 ?????? what am I missing?
Sounds like the electronic engineers in Brazil/Morocco/India are not doing a very good job for Stellantis.

You know that never happened
software update will fix this eventually😁
Never buy a 1st year engine in any brand!
Did you watch the video buddy lol.
@@calebniederhofer6529 And the video said.... that many were experiencing significant issues.

I wouldn't have anything turbo!!
EPA ya'll EPA
2022 have the transmission problem on downshifting and transmission replaced
Ill keep my old truck.
Typical
Gee, hmmm… real shocker there.. Toyota went thru the same thing. .. Bidenomics for ya. “Get rid of the V8” … What??!!
Like Biden had anything to do with decisions, car manufacturers plan 5 years prior.
Sounds like just corporate greed using cheap components and poor quality while maintaining profits.
Biden had nothing to do with it. It's all bean counters and planned obsolescence.
