I just started watching this video right after rage quitting an Isle session, that opening clip was like therapy
The devs' genius is honestly kinda frightening. They release a new herbivore, give it a couple of plants on its diet, half of those spawn in trees so it can't even get to them, and then migration zones only spawn about 5 plants in total so the food instantly runs out. On rop of that, migration zones are on complete opposite sides of the map and Diablo is the slowest thing in the game. Have fun!!!
And the fact that this session was over the span of two days and 5 hours of playing that and the fucking dibble never got full diet or became full grown.

This is why i play unofficial. Until devs realise and sort this out official servers are unplayable. You’d think horde test would’ve shown the diet is a nightmare

Seeing two baby dibbles boxing is the funniest thing ever
i find it hilarious that troodon almost seemed threatening, up until you figured out you could just impale them on dismount.
One thing you should remember, TO GRAZE, GRAZE GIVES YOU FOOD
But no diet. I would advise against grazing as to keep yourself open to diets

Not even 6 seconds in and you have found more food than I have in my entire attempts of playing Dibble. Either the entire migration zones is bare or a adult Dibble kills me before i even reach one

I had the classic experience. Grew for about two hours, got stuck in a fucking log formation designed to be more secure than Guantanamo. Some poor soul full grown Dibble thought he could show me how to get out. He gets stuck too and then in a fit of rage, he kills me.

You can always use the “/unstuck” command in chat on servers. (90min or so cooldown though).

What I found was the most consistent way to get diets for diablo was just waiting at the west plains. Even when the mz isn't there, sometimes there will be food. It saves a lot of frustration migrating through the whole map only for the mz to switch back.
I can't even fathom running into a Rex.. some young ass kid will have a yoked out Rex with all mutations and just wreck people

I was playing as cera in HT, was roughly 300 kgs and got chased by 3 diablos and a baba Utah, I somehow managed to juke one of the dibbles of a cliff by going in some bushes by the cliff

1. no food cuz overpopulation++ people eating and dying to spar
2. lots of cannies
3. migration is all over the map very hard to navigate, by the time you get there it switch cuz there is 100 dibble already at the migration eating everything like a locust swarm.

I dont understand this idea of oh theres only like 2 of each fruit tree on the entire damn island, or how the entire south plains has like 5 of the different flowers total. It makes no sense there isnt a larger spread of fruits and flowers and such
