Just got the game for the new update and my entire experience has been; fly around as a ptera and airdrop fish on random dinos. i dont recognize the types yet, so everyone gets fish, herbas and carnos

I'm sure things will calm down with time since Cera is still brand new, than again Cera isn't in the menu for carno, so carno has no reason to hunt ceras and ceras being scavengers would probably stay away from carnos, unless either one is hungry, than again can u blame the players and community, it's been a year and a half since we had new dinos, so ofc right now it's going to be crazy and it'll be for a while.

That was some epic carno gameplay. It's good to know when to pick and choose your fights because recklessness more often than not ends with your dino getting killed.

@@PIayer0 I noticed trees are flickering and the game looks blurry when I'm in motion do u know why?
@@RR2SS Never change your graphics and go into a server right away (there’s a weird settings bug atm). Instead make the changes you want and restart the isle. Also change your textures to high or lower to fix the flickering and increase 3d resolution to 100 to fix the blurriness.
Awesome content! Owltime’s shout-out was spot on, you’re great at this game and the loose narrative you use to make a story among the action is *chef’s kiss* my friend.
This was my favorite video so far. You've come a long way from the "loud noises = funny". The little bits of humor laced into this was witty and enjoyable as well as an amazing soundtrack. Great video!

Amazing video, I got started on the isle after 6.5 and after having almost every dinosaur I raise get chased down and mauled by a pack of Ceras I decided to pick up Carno. This video was pretty informative in how the Carno should play after the 6.5 nerfs so thanks a ton.
Oh lmao you were the Carno with blue markings. We do a little troodon trolling. Got jumped as a Carno by Cerato's so had to make their life hell as a Troodon.
I need the train noise when you charge to be an actual ingame sound that sh*t is HILARIOUS 😂😂😂

I havent found the isle videos this fun in a long time, dude. Seems only natural a large apex would need to ambush and catch prey off guard. Even the Carno from Dinosaur ambushed the herd. This was cool asf to see! Looking forward to more of your videos.

I was under the opinion that Carno go trashed in this update. It either did and you're just extremely skilled or it didn't and I just have a MAJOR skill issue. Gonna have to go with the latter.

I mean if you look at just their base stats, there is no reason why a cerato should win against a carno, but with that bacterial bite carnos have to make sure they have good hunger before entering a fight

Carno is good as is, cera needs a stamina nerf - because its already got buffs when near body bacterial bite and so on... it has too many positives.
Since the patch is still new, there's a disproportionate amount of ceras, hopefully it will even out soon. Didn't see 1 pachy since the patch dropped, I've only seen one coconut lol.
Whenever I play with people they friendly fire me in fights until I'm dead lmaooo

In my personal opinion; I think the puke mechanic is a bit broken on smaller ceras. I’m pretty sure they inflict the same amount of bacteria regardless of the size, which should be adjusted. I don’t ever lose the fight or die to ceras with a carno, but I ALWAYS end up with vomit sickness, and losing my diets. It’s actually very annoying, and kind of takes away some of the joy of the kill afterwards. In fact, I’m pretty sure I logged off of my carno with 70% vomit sickness yesterday. (Btw for anyone who hunts in center, there is a nice salt spot in the cave on the left side down the ravine not that far from the entrance) I think what would fix this annoyance is simply putting cera on the carno’s diet list. Make them a triple dot diet for carnos. But we also have to take into consideration that the devs WANTED the ceras vomit sickness to be impactful enough to make players think twice about hunting them.
Edit: a couple things to note in this video, you don’t seem to be running into many groups of ceras, for 1. And for 2, hunting ceras on a full stomach is definitely easier than doing it while you are hungry/starving.

Nothing wrong with the playstyle. It is lame that you can lose your entire dinosaur instantly with no warning because you're forced to drink.
@@Justmonika6969 Fair, tbh, I kind of wish there was some kind of warning for Deinosuchus lunges.
@@weallstilldie Maybe if Deinos made some shifting in the water noises if they move too much to get into position? (With a visual indicator like bubbles rising up) Or allow the prey to fight back by tapping a button. There are plenty of ways they can introduce counterplay to crocs without making them unplayable or noob killers.
They probably will introduce some counterplay in the future.
I barely ever die to other players as carno… it’s the hunger which is not exactly fun

@@UserNamedTenonto Agreed I think giving it back the acceleration would go a long way in making it feel better. They seem to be trying to make it an ambush predator that needs to pick its fights (Which is fine), but having the windup to full speed limits that sometimes.
I feel that keeping the charge nerf to where it consumes 10% stam to activate was needed, but combining that with the acceleration nerf feels a bit too much for the Carno playstyle.

So you think carnos run looks weird as subadult? I haven’t played carno only the new dinos and deino but it seems weird like the animation is to fast for how fast it is running and the animation randomly speeds up more when your going the same speed? Just looks weird correct me if I’m wrong

Deinosuchus shouldn't have been added in so soon considering that its literally a massive apex predator. Maybe a smaller croc species would've worked in its place like the Sarcosuchus.
