So you beat the first character and think it’s still unlikely that you’ll win. Then suddenly their second fighter goes down and you realize that maybe, just _maybe_ you can win. This hopeless fight had now become a winnable battle and when that victory comes you lean back and wonder just how the hell you managed to pull the clutch
I have once been in that situation and clutched the 1v3 against my brother. It is one of the best feelings and proves that everything is possible even if it doesn't seem it that way. The character I was using was Yamcha, and became one of my definitive mains after that play.
You know you played too much Budokai Tenkaichi 3 when after years of not touching the game nor watching anything involving it, a few opening notes of a song is enough to start bringing back old memories. Also the sheer editorial timing on some of these moments, the perfection of lining up perfectly with the song. That Bardock block string was BEAUTIFULLY timed for the beat. also the nerd in me wishes there'd been a Kamen Rider Gaim: Donguri arms reference in here. Cause its henshin noise is literally yelling "NEVER GIVE UUUUUP!" but i understand not everyone is my type of nerd. Still a badass video though. and that first Bro's Kamehameha timing was delicious

You know my fondest memory of this game,is getting my ass beat by someone who's seemed leagues better then me,but all that was left was Base goku,and despite not knowing everything about this game I somehow managed to almost turn it around completely with a sliver of health,just whooping 2 characters and leaving the third with very little...before getting smacked.
How ‘good’ your character is doesn’t mean much in fighting games (unless the character is just horribly broken or something) until you start meeting people who are as good at the game as you. When the players skills are equivalent, that’s when things like tier lists and match ups really start to matter.
This is why I have Bardock as my anchor I save my spark for when he is my last character And then solo through enemy teams Its like Doom music starts when he appears
