I know this is nearly a year old comment but what other way is there to win the game besides counters and punishes? Could have just said he's not a mixup character?
Playing as himself is different than playing with himself but ok guys... and hit from what we can tell in the anime he can’t even perform combos this well

Because he can't do what he can do with other characters like Gotenks pressure and honestly his hit is one-note compared to this guy, again, this Hit has done shit that Sonic hasn't even thought about. Look at any of his hit videos and it's all bread and butter, hardly any notable mixups other than basic one's.

I main Hit as well, and was reaching my skill ceiling on what I could think to do with him since I wasn't seeing any top level play. So this was great to learn from! Rewound multiple times to understand the order in which you triggered abilities. Definitely need to get faster with executing Quarter Circle Back + M

So far he's taken me to demon rank but even in the early days he was pretty easy for me to learn. I think Beerus requires serious skill. Almost no one is good at using him.
