This is a very beautiful historical building. I think it’s great that people are taking care of the buildings and giving them some love. I believe that if the damage to the building is repaired, many generations will still be able to enjoy it.
Finger tips are very unique. I’ve accidentally cut my finger tips off a couple times, a major slice into my thumb once, and even the scars fade away over time. It’s crazy how the body just rebuilds the finger tip over time.

So, invest in tangible stuff that will likely appreciate in value, something with potential high demand over time. Getting connections, especially people with useful resources, is crucial. Barter economy is underappreciated, while being useful. My personal recent story, I have a friend nerd who is a programmer and was a vintage tech aficionado. I did a complete restoration of a low-ish professional grade espresso machine (like those you find in cafeterias) for him, normally I'd ask 500 PLN for that job but I happily went down to 200 plus a bunch of vacuum tubes that would be pretty useful to me. Smiling and depression? Ouch. I know that all too well... Don't let appearances and silly stereotypes define who you are.
yup yup. also the power of step by step works great. i kept thinking why cant i get things done and thought okay baby steps baby steps. but yeah confience in yourself and not feeling scared to try/attempt something youll probalby fail at first time is so real. i psych myself out sometimes and it seems the fears are actually turning into real fears. kind of like how receiving trauma works. here here fellow push thru-er, we all rooting for each other
I was cutting a store bought 2/4 in my Milwaukee cordless chop saw and there was a chunk of metal in the middle of the board it also just so happened to be a piece about 6” long I was barely holding on to. It launched out the back. Hit the block wall then hit me right in the face.

Stress is like a constant background hum anymore, it seems. Making my beard turn grey, it is. I'm finding it to be a struggle to spend less time on the computer or sleeping and more time fixing things to make money at work! Plus balancing work-related repairs with repairs of mine and my family's vehicles. (I live with my parents and sister as I'd likely be homeless otherwise) I could be making money quite nicely at work if I could just adjust my sleep schedule to get there earlier than mid-day to mid-afternoon. (since I'm an outside contractor rather than a full-time employee I set my own hours) Just rather hard to have the get up and go sometimes, and this time of year especially. Anyhow, thanks for the look behind the curtain as it were, it helps to hear that other people are pushing forward despite similar struggles.
This happened the day after thanksgiving 2023, and set of a long chain of events that got me stuck in beurocracy and without health insurance for a time, but now its been a year and Ive finally worked through that . Would have been far easier without, and if the hospital had sent my insurance the bill.
Greetings from Germany. In Germany, skilled tradespeople are urgently needed. Health insurance is standard even for auxiliary workers, including pension contributions.

Someone like you could also choose an apprenticeship, which lasts three years and is a combination of theory and practice. After that, you would be a highly qualified tradesperson. During those three years, the pay is lower, but it’s enough to live on, and you still get health insurance and a pension. It’s not even possible here to work without such insurance. German apprenticeships are also highly respected worldwide. I don’t have one myself and started out as a dishwasher, but today I am a partner in a company and earn very good money doing just janitorial work. Best regards.

Nah I don't want a big youtube channel. UA-cam popularity doesn't pay, and actually can hurt you. That's why I am fine with my channel getting smaller. Also 18650s aren't really all that relevant anymore to me. 4680s maybe though, but LifePo4 and Na-Ion feel like the current tech.

I planned on fitting them into holes cut into an old T shirt, the sweat and oil from my skin would make a good enough heat sink compound, and I hopped the passive air going by the heat sinks would be enough so I did not need a fan on them. I got as far as saving a box full of heat sinks, then got a job working in air conditioning. Never built the shirt, I always wondered if it would have worked.
Heatsinks only get to the same temperature as the air, meanwhile sweat evaporating can get to a lower temperature than the surrounding air if the humidity isn't 90%. As it is, the human body works more efficiently if it just has some airflow.

I did not see a hand specialist for a finger injury. Huge mistake.
