sorry for the lack of playing in this video guys... there's just so much to go over that i tried to keep it brief, but it's a complex piece of gear.... i make up for it in the other 12 parts :-)
I'm going to enjoy watching these. I've had a Big Sky for over a year and only today I finally got time to make a start on working out what everything does, and how to change settings. One little point: I think you often say "bank" when "patch" might be better.
I am hoping to see a Timeline and Mobius series of videos, as this series on the Bigsky is wonderful... Thank you so much for your time and insight Bea!
Can you do a in depth video on the timeline and mobius to? Thanks for the awesome video, I've been looking for a video like this! And finally I found one! Good work keep it up :)
I always have trouble trying to explain this pedal to people who ask why I love the pedal so much and what it does for me, I'm going to nick your "flowing through a utopia" line to aide me from now on haha!
Super review as usual. Having already got the timeline I can only confirm the quality and the attention Strymon puts into building these amazing pieces of kit. This is on my wish list, so in the meantime I will continue to watch these reviews with a touch on envy. Would you describe its capability as 'hench as' :-)
***** cheers. Interesting comment about Midi….I wonder how long it will be before you may delve into this. one press and change all 3 strymons and the JVM too. I thought I would never go the midi route, but have just bought a nice controller off flea-bay and no longer tap dancing during my gigs. Anyhows….rock on \m/ \m/
So the Value knob is a whole nother pedals worth of parameters hidden there? I'm sold, I don't even think the fractal has that level of control outside of its amps.
Thanks for doing these demonstrations of the Big Sky. Did you ever compare this to the Eventide Space reverbs? I'm trying to decide which big-box reverb to save up for.
Anyone know how to completely bypass this pedal? I just got it and have no freaking idea. Its obviously not like a normal pedal with an on and off button for when you want the effect to be on but I can't find how to do that.
At any point in time, you have three patches available to you, accessed by the 3 stomp buttons. Whichever one is showing a light is the one that is selected. If you stomp on it then the light goes off and the pedal is bypassed.

Videos like this are extremely helpful to understand pedals that seem so complicated. Looking forward to the rest.
I love seeing your videos pop up in my sub box. I love your playing!
Just bought a big sky and this video is a great quick start to get getting right into the good stuff this amazing reverb unit does. Many thanks buddy.
To date that was the most accessible summary I've seen. Thanks mate. Just bought one and setting up tomorrow. Can't wait
Hands down the best explanation I've seen on how to work your way around this pedal. Thanks a lot!
Just purchased one of these and wanted a video just like this to help me out. Thank you Bea!

Very useful stuff man, great job
Hey brother thanks for the video.
I have a question please how can swap ( switch) channels from one to the other ????
like it dude, I got one myself so thanks for the series of vids :)
Mate thanks for this. I got one and haven’t got a scooby what I’m doing. And I have a delay I can’t get rid of.
Lovely pedal!
You should do this with the Timeline as well!!
What is that song playing in the background? It is really cool!!
Hi dear friend Do you know how you can return to the company sounds

Awesome riff at the end!!! (11:36)

Bea, how much did the timeline cost dude x
Stupid question here but.. How do you turn this pedal on and off? Just pull out the power cord plug?
Lol I actually I had the same question lol
@@luisLopez-uz3mv lmao thats what I do but with pedals like this I wish it would turn off when I turn the amp off.
Excellent video, thanks!
