I know this isn't really classical music, but I really recommend giving Infected Mushroom a listen. Both of the musicians that form it are classically trained and their discography has a pretty big variety of technologic bliss. Their main genre is psytrance, which is kinda like a darker version of trance, but they have everything from mainstream EDM (Friends on Mushrooms) to absolutely dark and melancholy vibes. (B.P.Empire) They also use more acoustic instruments every once in a while, such as guitars, strings and pianos. It's great stuff.
It feels like something that would play during action/climactic moments during a VN's story. Or a hack-n-slash/character action game like Bayonetta or DMC.

I feel you. There are so many talented musicians overshadowed by the mainstream crap that they don't get the chance to shine. Talents that would put those "award winning" pop artists to shame. I have found this album about 1,5 years ago and since then listened to it from the beginning to the end dozen times, and every time I listen to it - music seems better and better, it's absolute gold. The compositor is real devil of fast electronic-eclectic music.
There are two things I grew up with. Real Classical music (and music from Romantique Period), and Techno from 80s and 90s and onward. this is what one might call 'contemporary classical' though technically this is more techno than classical music mixed in, like music for fate/extra CCC game + trailer music. Its just techno with vocals and some orchestral instrumentals, nothing much to it. But this is quite enjoyable considering the fact that its not stupidly short like certain "epic/boss/etc" osts out there that are 1:30 to < 3:00. Soon as I saw the art. I knew I was in for a treat.
