Thank you so much. This was on point and I was able to print and get an important document in the mail.
I did uninstall for the HP Smart app- then reinstalled it. It cleared the app and allowed me to install my printer on the app from scratch- connected yay!
I have a new model. 1 month old and this did not work at all. Still off-line. Looks easy but this trick did not work for me. I'm losing my mind.

I am standing here with the printer directly connected to the laptop, and I am about to lose it too! It is sooooooooo frustrating! Can't imagine why I 2023, we cannot have a seamless operation to print wirelessly from a laptop!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple time, and I still cannot print without some delay--even with the direct connection via the cable!
In fact, the notation on the printer set-up has referenced a missing driver AFTER I downloaded and installed it from THEIR website! Just plain ridiculous!!!
At this point, It more looks like it is designed to frustrate us!!!
I do have a giant collection of instructions for "quick" wireless set up! That's about all that prints no matter what I do---and now I'm out of ink. 🤐 What a scam for the new never run out of ink scam.
A trick I have used is to unplug the printer and then plug it back in, why does it go offline, I have no idea, Maybe after 24 hrs of not using the printer it goes offline?

I have a HP Deskjet plus 4132 and it is trash when I allow them to go into my account and take money out for them to monitor My ink everything worked fine as soon as I took them out of my account because my account was compromised my printer would no longer work I could not print from my phone or my computer. This is illegal no one should be able to control what I print because I don't allow them to take money out of my account so that they can monitor My ink I can go buy ink from a store

Not sure if there is any issue in your printer but it should go off once and come on.

Hello and thank you for the video. I have an HP M148 printer for 3 years now. It was connected via WIFI no issues. The other day I renewed my Microsoft Office 365 and now, every time I have to print, it keeps saying the printer is offline on mine and my wife's computer. The WIFI light on the printer is solid blue meaning it has a signal. Then, I go into Control Panel and right click on my printer and select "printer properties" and go to "port." I try and click on "configure port" and get the following error message (which I never had in the past) "An error occurred during port configuration. This operation is not supported. Would anyone know what changed after I installed Office 365?

I wish the HP techs were easy to understand, but they just can’t speak English that I can hear clearly!!!!!
