I stumbled across Simon Khorolskiy videos as my husband lay dying from early-onset Alzheimer's and I wanted to play some favorite hymns for him. COVID-19 has caused me to postpone his memorial service, but this song gives me great comfort. He lost his mother when he was just 14. I know she was waiting for him with open arms.

I stumbled upon this by accident looking for this old church song from my childhood. I was at my dad’s grave and this video brought back my childhood memories of my uncle Mikolaj Pyotr born in Russia. Inprisoned by Hitler for 3 years in a concentration camp, escaped to America and lived free until the day I buried him 4 years ago this month. Memories of him leaning forward to me and saying мой любимый ребенок don’t ever loose faith in God.

So many of them left their homeland, knowing they would never see their loved ones in this life again. They found a better life, but one still filled with struggle and hardship. This is a song of longing and hope, born from homesickness and faith. This version is so pretty, the message is universal.

Ваше творчество заряжает добротой, любовью и желанием делиться таковыми.... это великое дело для каждого.... и совершенно неважно во что и кто одет, есть ли серьга или нету серьги.... нарушены ли писания или нет...самое главное чему всех людей учил Иисус - это любовь! Это добро! это взаимовыручка и помощь каждому до кого человек способен дотянуться... но проблема всегда была и есть в том, что для понимания масс необходимо придумывать некоторые правила и условности, которым они иногда излишне рьяно следуют.... к сожалению.... например, я - человек хоть и крещенный, верующий в бога, но почти никогда в храм не хожу (очень редко)... именно из за этих условностей.... однако я всегда следую простым истинам о любви и помощи ближним... ваша великолепная музыка, ваши песни, создают в моей голове такое тепло и уют, что делать это становится еще проще... так что если угодно - то вы создаете в сердце моем эдакий эмоциональный храм, в который я сам хожу, с удовольствием, и готов впустить в него ближнего, что бы он так же осознал добро и любовь.... спасибо вам!

We go through momentary afflictions down here. Not a lifetime of constant pain & misery. I hope all of us understand that. It's preparation for eternity down here. Прочитав комментарии, невольно вспомнилась притча о панке, плачущем на пороге церкви.
Для тех, кто не знает - вкратце:

- Не расстраивайся, они Меня тоже выгнали.
А песня просто прекрасна, все твои песни слушем всей семьей, а потом разшариваем всем знакомым ценителям красивой музыки. Близко знаком с музыкой и понимаю, каких усилий стоит такой результат, не говоря уже о видео. Благословений от Господа, поддержки и понимания от людей, творческих успехов.
Выгнали из Царства Божьего?? Вы серьёзно? Или Вы не читали Библию, где сказанно, что нету перехода ни туда ни обратно? Завязывайте с этим.
