Australia is beautiful. I've noticed a lot of the homes have a road in between them and the beach....Can't help but think of poor Guage from Pet Semetary and how he meets his end.

Are you kidding me?! South Bay are in California over $ 2.5 millions not even by the beach. Front beach homes in South Bay California $ 20 millions.

Nah really sorry guys(and Pete)..it only looks impressive but please consider the WHOLE picture not just the beauty...The property ownership taxes and the cost of maintenance upkeep and insurance would be high in the upper class locations..and Western countries do have very money hungry government departments (councils) that just love to overcharge property owners based on ppty value..If I spend this sort of money in the Philippines on a whole floor high rise apartment in a good area with sensational views out to sea...it would be more affordable plus the benefits of a simpler MORE FUN down to earth enjoyable filipino lifestyle rather than..I'm better than the next door Jones family type of snobby culture..which is prevalent in practically all Western upper class locations I lived in so far..Australia included unfortunately..I'm not being pessimistic here..just stating the facts as I know them from 57 years living in Australia mainly.

You are saying if property has a $1.79ml mark you can buy it for cheaper ? You clearly not familiar with what’s happening in reality - it will sell for 30-40% HIGHER than that actually - good luck buying a beach front land under a mill
This video is old, market is hot right now and impossible to buy cheap nowadays. Often people are paying more than what its worth in todays market. Yes I agree 100%, things have changed and its a sellers market.
