to be fair the Sturmtiger isn't designed to engage armor either, but as with all things IRL and otherwise it can do in a pinch.
We have plenty of vehicles in WT that IRL r not designed to fight vehicles, the Sturmtiger is just one of them
Except that one Schturmtiger that was shelling a town, and without knowing it took out basically an entire brigade of shermans and support vehicles. Ranging from complete anihilation to damafged in the splash range
We have dozens of vehicles that are not made for armor penetration, some examples include: Sturmtiger, every howitzer in the game, the KV-2 and many more.

No it is actually 29mm. The large tube is just for the explosive charge, while the spigot goes into its own 29mm tube, hence 29mm spigot mortar.

As much as I like the OG Warrior, Britain really needed a top tier IFV that could compete with stuff like the Bradley, BMP-2 and Beglit
It would be even better if they added the Ajax after it too
one day they will add the ajax, ascod and scorpion
Warrior CSP with the stabilised 40mm CTA autocannon and add on armour would be nice too, I know it was just a prototype but like you said, UK is sorely lacking that kind of capability at high tier.

The AJAX has 130 turrets, and about 200 hulls ready to go to action (not sure on the exact numbers, but its around those figures) with a projected 400 in service with the British army by 2030
Plus the reliability of the AJAX has gone up massively, whereas the 2S38 is not very reliable at all
Tbh there are a couple of different warriors that can be added so we might see a few

So just FYI before people get too excited there were two vehicles named the Churchill AVRE (Technically a lot more of you count different hulls and the Aggie)
I’m hoping it’s the 290mm but realistically it’s probably the 1950s one with the 165mm HESH launcher, the same gun as the Cent AVRE.
Yeah if we are lucky we might get one as a tech tree and the other as event or premium

yeah idk if anyones seen combat footage with the spigot mortar but it's velocity isn't just low, it's human throwing a bin level of low. The effective range was 91 metres. If modelled accurately it would be near unuseable in WT. Although Aggie would be anther interesting variant to see.

Yea it’s an acaritz so it’s based off a t55 p.s. pretty sure only that img was an acaritz with the same turret

1945 the AVRE had L9 gun, same used on the centurion AVRE premium. 165mm HESH slinger
it was the one with the petard mortar on it, the breach loading demolition gun was later
@@Kettleman1.0 I know the one he showed was the petard I'm asking was the one in the list the petard or the lesser know L9 version. The L9 version is the one that makes most sense for game play.

The U-SH 204GK is just an Unimog with a 20mm Oerlikon cannon attached to it.
I wonder why they put it under the swedish tech tree when all the info i find about it says that it was a swiss experiment in 1952 that was abandoned.

The AVRE would be useful as a tank destroyer using over pressure. British Tank destroyers are mostly armed with 17 pdrs, and Churchill will break the meta.

3:40 I want Churchill AVRE in Churchill MK Vii Platform and not in Churchill MK iii Platform...USA T30(thanks to 155mm it can shoot high calibre HE) proven that with 30+ reload rate it got high chance survivability...so if Churchill MK Vii AVRE around rank iii or...maybe...just maybe in rank ii...It will survive longer in most matches...

gods churchill avre is such a broad thing, they bolted every possible attachment to the avre line of churchills, the one I have seen with the motar is a modified mark 3 churchill so expect it at 4.0 maybe 3.7 due to the gun.

By the way, the gun didn’t have be loaded externally, they had a loader inside for it, it had a breach similar to a shotgun. It’s also 23cm or 230mm gun, not 29cm or 290mm. A lot of people get it wrong. Including some in these comments. Just a fun fact.

unimog u25 204 gk its a spaa. The ingame ush is based on the unimog. 204 gk is the name of the mounted 20 mm so should be ush with a 20 mm turret. Basically another r3 but slower
If the SWIP isn't on the leak list then it's not a real leak list at this point. They're probably keeping it ready in the files for when they "Eventually" add anti radiation missiles (I really want anti rads in game)
I think germany should have netherlands stuff instead of french cz netherlands is closer to germany rather than france

@@jordanterlouw4305 but netherlands also works closely together with belgium militarily, so i would rather belgium and netherlands stick together in war thunder and go to france. also germany has less gaps in their tech tree and so isn't as in need of a sub tree as france.
I counter with this: French mains deserve it more than german mains
The Dutch ground forces operate under the same command with Germany.
This wouldn't be a problem if people didn't get butthurt over nations being split between tech trees.

what do people think about the M6 Linebacker? i think it could be interesting but kinda has a difficult role (for those who dont know what the m6 linebacker is, its a m2a2 ods with stingers instead of Tow missiles

Does this also mean France would get the Dutch Gloster Meteors, F-84, Hawker Hunter, F-86K, F-104, F-16, YPR-765, Boxer, Fennek, Leopards / Gepards (Dutch called them Cheetah), CV9035NL etc.?
I mean Germany should get all the Dutch stuff as their militaries are a lot closer together then they are with the French. (They even share a tank corps.) However French should get the Belgium stuff as they work way more together. And i guess also stuff from Luxembourg. Whatever that might be.

@@Endoloris99 ground wise yeah. Air wise however Germany is severely lacking in quite a few areas and certain Dutch aircraft like say the F16 could help them out quite a bit.

the Merkava IFV is not lighter than the tank itself. In fact, it's next to the exact same weight. This is due to a rather big hull armour upgrade, which has unofficially given it the title of the world's most armoured IFV. It should be really well defended from the front but not very fast.
To my knowledge some also have the iron fist aps on it
I think gaijim will add fox 3s to the vehicle's that have them and add more vehicle's that can carry them

I think they will be using Churchill VII AVRE FV3903 as it makes much more sense to put in the game. The Petard was replaced with an internal breech loading loaded Ordnance BL 6.5″ Mk.I 165mm launcher which fired HESH rounds. I believe the Centurion AVRE uses a more modern version of it. This increased the range up to 2400m it also had a bulldozer on it for additional utility and theoretical frontal armor.
Could stick a bridge on it for laughs and have people build bridges around the map, it would be hilarious.

The 204GK is the Unimog with the 20mm on the bed. Id love to see the GAZ 66 with the ZU 23-2 on its bed. Thatd be goofy
Maybe, but that is a Swiss vehicle, and the one in the leak list is supposedly the U-SH, which is an armored car built on the Unimog's chassis.
So the Strv 101R is basically just a Strv 104 with Strv 101 mobility

The Brit tech tree has literally no light tanks for top tier. The US has the upgraded Bradley and the HSTVL. The LAV-25 wouldn’t even be good…

If they don’t start making QUALITY of life improvements over QUANTITY of money grab vehicles they’re going to lose their player base..
Things people have asked for so far:
1.) usage of the entire map in all modes.
2.) completion of VR cockpits of all aircraft. There are aircraft that ARE INCOMPLETE, 13 years into this enterprise this is unacceptable. Some of these models have been in the game since the beginning!!!!
3.) ability to put camouflage anywhere on the vehicle.
yeah but you also have to understand that gaijin has to make money to pay their devs and stuff otherwise we wouldnt have a game. they are making qol things but only very slowly.

Taiwan should get its own tree. It is shameful that GJ gives China the Taiwan vehicles. Then again I guess they’ve got to keep those Chinese investors happy. That is probably why they never seem to deal with all the Chinese hackers now days either.

Just when I thought war thunder couldn’t get any lower. This morning I was playing in an urban battle. And I’m driving down a road watching the map and looking for the enemy.
When out of nowhere BAM. My tank gets destroyed by an enemy tank sitting behind a building. Never appeared on the map.
And my next two tanks were destroyed in the same way.
This game uses a software program to help hide and destroy you.

It has nothing to do with skill. Because I play just fine and most games. I have about 5 to 7 kills plus one aircraft shot down.
But on some of the games, the enemy tanks don’t appear on the map. And they shoot from distances that is unrealistic. Not to mention, I have been damaged or destroyed by a tank that is moving down a hill or across a bouncy flatland. That kind of technology was not available with tanks from the 1940s.
This game is supposed to represent the tanks of the 1940s and newer. I drove a M1 Abrams and we were able to fire while we were moving. I have read other comments and watched other videos, and there are some people that agree with my philosophy.
The other side is using some kind of special software and aiming bots.
@@RickHoot-gc4zu warthunder isn't real life people get long range kills all the time. As for the not showing on map, nothing should be unless they're scouted by a light tank or you're playing arcade and had line of sight on them

Boycott all Russian development studios, BSG and Gajin both practice the same p2w strategy and both cant balance anything if the game dependent on it. Usually only fix things once the community complains enough and even at that wont get done in a timely manner. Piss poor quality based on the price tags of/in the games with the amount of resources available.
