I'm really glad I listened to this. Great summation. This needs to be shared far and wide. People always blame capitalism when it's the corporatism and cronyism that erodes it. James Lindsay's 28 min talk at the European Parliament is the best summation of the Woke cultural revolution in the West.
They call it capitalism and hold it as responsible for our current woes, when in reality we have been moving away from a free market and competition for a long time, accompanied by an expansion of the public sector.
great start to ARC..... Thankyou Jordan Peterson and all the others involved in bringing this alliance to the world. This (ARC) is what we desperately need. Genuine facts and leadership. Now it is up to us, the public, to do our part. Put an end to the distopian vision offered by the elites of Davos and the WEF gang. Bring individual Freedom and responsibility back to the forefront of a free and prosperous society. Thankyou.

He also corrected a lot of false assumptions I had about a free market economy. It is clearly the cause of a lot of misery but produces so much good when applied correctly. This contradiction has driven me nuts and he has helped alleviate some of that frustration. Never heard of ARC before - big fan now!
Thank you so much for this talk. When our government in the US gave corporations the same “rights” as a person it turned our nation to a perilous path. To reverse such a standard would be a good first step in what you were describing.
What's the causal factor? The belief that anyone can "give" rights at all. That which can be given, can be taken away, but rights are *unalienable* and "endowed by the Creator" (i.e. naturally-occurring). It seems something was lost between the Declaration and the Constitution.
Comment on one of ARCs videos. Places like Grimsby is a good shout to get started if anyone is looking to invest, or set up any new industries, businesses etc. Apparently It's one of the abandoned communites left in the wake of the destruction of the fishing industry in Britain. Revive a community like that, and many others, and ARC will really prove what it's worth.
3:52: "Free markets truly propser in societies where there is a proper shared understanding of virtue and mutual honor (my word is my bond). When virtue breaks down, you see emergence of mutant strains of capitalism: Monopoly capitalism, Crony Capitalism, Woke Capitalism"

The core of these three problems is the size and role of the state government. The US foundation is based on government and state power suspicion, but even there, we have seen a steady growing role, size, and power of state bureaucracy. In the rest of the Western world, the situation is much worse, on the verge of full fledge tyranny, as we have witnessed during the so-called covid pandemic.
