The Plenty Hwy has been upgraded somewhat since I travelled it in 1976! Looks like the kids are enjoying it. We travelled from Mt Isa. No fuel anywhere for the section from Urandangi to Alice Springs, no sealed sections till reaching the Stuart Hwy, nothing and no-one along the way. Lots of deep bulldust and no sections of the road were raised above the surrounding land, like it is now. Looks like a piece of cake now! We also camped at Henley Craters but we drove the cars into the bottom of the largest crater and spend the night there. It's a bit different these days!

I did a lot of outback stuff and the flies drove me mad. They dont care when you wave your hand to shoo them away. They fly about 400mm away then come straight back sometimes into your mouth.
My solution that worked great was my portable cows/horses tail. Works magic, 2 or 3 swipes and they leave you alone for a couple of minutes. Once you own one you will cherish it.

Great footage and great to see what a young family can do. But for a first time watcher it’s a bit of a turnoff to hear you bag out a company with such a great reputation. Most have a very high respect for the team at Patrolapart. I have no doubt they’ll do the right thing by you and your family. Anyways hope the positive criticism helps 😂👍, keep up the great work.
