I just found out he passed away today because I thought of him and had not seen any reviews from him on Untappd in quite a while. He was awesome and his reviews were the best. It seemed like he responded to every comment I had. A great guy. RIP Greg. He will be missed.
Greg was a OG in the "beer tube" community we are in. He didn't review homebrews typically, but his last review was a beer from Beer Man, an awesome member of the community whose homebrew tastes like a legit full-scale brewery. It's fitting his final review was highlighting another member of the communtiy. Cheers y'all and RIP Greg. He will be missed, and the community will miss finding out "What's in the fridge today?"
Greg introduced me to treehouse, along with many other things. I think a Greg Puckett tribute beer is in order? Call it “No date? Well f*ck it - a beer tribute to Greg Puckett”
So Cool a Giant Brewery did a Tribute! I Was Saying I Wish Someone Made a Beer For Him & Donated Some of the Proceeds to Help the Family with Funeral Expenses! 🍻
I was just wondering where Greg was and came across your video. I am heartbroken. Thank you for your kind comments on a man and a channel I had a great affinity for. His formula for review made every review directly comparable - it was deceptively brilliant. Greg helped me learn about beer - plain and simple and I loved the channel. I am heartbroken. Safe travels Greg! Final Chug!
Man, such sad news about Greg... We used to talk a lot online back in the day. One of the OG's of BeerTube! It's very kind of you to pay respect like this. Good on you Nate & Team Tree House!❤
Thank you so much for posting this video in tribute to a man who contributed so much to craft beer. Total class act on Tree House's part. Another commenter suggested a beer with Greg's name on it. I wholeheartedly agree! RIP brother Greg.
Hey yall, stand-up video. This is how I learned the news and I'm very sad to hear it. I've watched his reviews for years and I've always wanted to try your beers after seeing his videos. Super sad to hear. I think Greg gave more entertainment and joy to more folks than he could have imagined.
Amazing contributor to Greg. As a fellow beer reviewer of my own in a top-notch fan of treehouse this makes my heart warm. He will be missed. One of the fellow beer reviewers I watched on the regular. Cheers to all
I watched his videos for over a decade and it's so true how it was a comfort to always find him there putting out new reviews and giving his takes on beers. I'm sure he would be touched by this.
Sad news, nice tribute. I hope 'the other half' sees this at some point. As Greg would say: check that bottle date before you buy, guys! 😂 I bet Greg influenced a brewery or two to add a canned on/ bottled on date; he was relentless with that! ❤ RIP, Greg.
I’m a big fan of Greg and enjoyed watching him all the time . I once asked him about his infamous glass , you know which one I mean … if you know Greg’s reviews and he responded letting me know where to get my own . How cool is that !!!!
I've been a long time subscriber to Greg's channel. I'll definitely miss Greg and his contribution to my beer journey. Tippin' a Kitsune, ASH vs Evil Dead in his remembrance...
Nate, I am heartbroken over this because I've watched him since 2017. Interesting, the last review he posted was a home west coast brew which he normally did not review. Rest In Peace Beer Brother Greg. Prayers to his family. I hope it's Beer Thirty where you are. I am going toast tenth anniversary Green to Greg this evening. Jon
Thank you sir. I hope somebody discovered his channel because of this and goes down the rabbit hole, watching the history of beer styles changing over the past decade +
I discovered Greg's channel around 2019 or 2020, I can't remember, but I loved his reviews. Simple but effective. I didn't watch him every day, but two or three times a month I'd stop by his channel and watch a few videos and enjoy a few beers with him. He will be missed. RIP Greg.
Thank you for recognizing Greg. I sent him a couple beer mail packages over the years and some of which included Treehouse. And like you, I’m sad Greg’s most recent beer review will be the last we see him doing what he enjoyed.
Greg was an OG in the world of youtube beer reviewers, kind of paved the way if you think about it. Watched and enjoyed many of his videos. He will be missed. Thanks for the content Greg.
Greg turned me onto Tree House even though I've never personally drank any of y'all's beers. Your words deeply resonate and I also want to share the sadness I feel in hearing this news. As you said, Greg was a lovely, consistent, safe and funny. He is appreciated and missed in my heart!
He was such a great guy and had a calming voice. His reviews were outstanding. I loved it when he got fired up and said "put the date on the damn bottle/can" for some of the beers he reviewed! Final chug to you, Greg! You will be greatly missed.
Good god, I would check in with him and have been watching his videos for years. What a great guy and so humble and enjoyable. His videos were consistent and no BS. RIP good sir.
Excellent tribute. I watched him since he started. He would always knock off a point for a beer not having a date on the bottle or can. Reading all these comments brought tears to my eyes. Here's to you Greg, Cheers!!🍺🍺
I'm deeply saddened to hear that Greg is no longer with us. I have enjoyed his reviews simply because you could see his love and enthusiasm towards drinking and most importantly, enjoying a glass a beer. He touched my soul, and that would be the ultimate prize for any youtuber worldwide. RIP Greg ❤
I’m just learning of this. Crazy. Greg’s channel was one of the first beer review channels that I would watch consistently. I learned about the importance of dating the can on IPA’s from this man. RIP, Greg P.
I review alcohol as well. Greg, he was an inspiration to wny. i started doing those videos. I agree with him that he always puts the born on date on beers. i am sad not to be able to see what he has in his friidge on every reveiw. I loved that part about his videos. He seemed like a very kind person. I am going to mias him. Rip greg. In memory of him, i am going spend a while and check out his videos. This is a great tribute video.
Thank you for this wonderful tribute. Greg was a pioneer and turned many people on to craft beer including myself. What I love most about his reviews is that he never changed his format, his style and his editing was the exact same from the very beginning until the end. It was something so authentic that is rarely seen these days especially on a platform like UA-cam. Truly a legend that will be missed.
oh man, I was just wondering why I haven't seen any new reviews from Greg. I went to his UA-cam channel and learned he passed. I watched so many of his videos.
“The final chug” rest in peace Greg
You’re amazing for this video, Nate. Greg was awesome. He’ll be missed for sure. Cheers to him 🍻
Cheers to that brother.
For sure. Very cool and classy move on their part.

I've watched Greg for years, and this is a huge loss to the beer reviewing community. Still doesn't feel real weeks later. We miss you, Greg! RIP.
