So i think i fixed it. my config.plist had an extra child in the acpi path and also needed to disable secure boot model. great tutorial by the way man!
Sorry for the delay. I will certainly try to get that achieved. I'm waiting to get an updated graphics card (AMD) to really switch from Big Sur to Monterey as my daily driver. If time starts pressing I will go ahead and switch and keep with the iGPU and go ahead and make this requested video.
My computer turns off during loading all that long initial boot after selecting the usb drive and the power led keeps flashing white. What im i not doing right
It used to be, download Unibeast, make a USB, install. Run Multibeast clover install. Restart done. Now it's so complicated and ridiculous I just don't want to do it anymore.
I would say complicated yes but not ridiculous. They took out all the bloat and made it pure. There are other solutions less complex. Check out the proxmox way.
Thanks for trying out Monterey. I tried full install on a Gigabyte B560m AORUS motherboard with i5 10400 with 16 gb RAM but unable to get past the after selecting the usb external. The GUI screen doesn't come and the display is completely dark however all the system fans are running. The log file last entry is exit:start. Tried out all the hacks as mentioned in the trouble shooting in the guide, but still couldn't get to the GUI.😔
I’ve tried full install and recovery install to create the usb. Every time I try to install it tells me my install drive needs to be formatted macOS journaled extended. When I try to install after formatting I get an error telling me I need a firmware upgrade then it points me to start disk with windows as the o my option. How do I stop this? iMac16,2 smbios does the trick?
Ok I have no experience running macos in a virtual machine to create an installer. They say to format it as journal extended to create it from macOS. I'm not sure about the firmware upgrade probably something to do with the virtual machine drivers.

It never shows the mac boot drive. 🤦🏾♂️ I made a bootable usb on my macbook pro everything went well it got to the apple loading screen and get froze. The Mac installation path uses different techniques from windows but they should both work in theory. Also make sure you have debug on. You shouldn’t be stuck at a logo you should see logs instead. Let me know how you make out with your install.
Should I use igpu with i7 4770 or gt730 Kepler? Gt730 still support 12.5.1 and when I was using with i7 3770, not responding happened and I had to restart every time it happen. Now when I change to Haswell with B85 board should I still use gt730 or igpu of Hawell?
Do you have any input on why Monterey automatically and randomly reboots the machine? it seems like its still a mystery. Im on an I9 Alderlake with AMD rx 660 graphics and 16 GB Ram installed on Samsung 980 NVMe. Thanks!
@@Studio3BRocks I’m having the same issue.
