Maybe he or she have an outdated mod that mirrors and/or GPS don't works. I think....

2 questions, 1. will the truck for 1.51 work in 1.52? if not will the updated one still have the legacy sleeper?
Yes. Trucks for 1.51 works O.K. in 1.52 and 1.53.Maybe a warning error about interior shadows, but don't affect to the gameplay.
