You mention VR which is the best, but not supported arghhhhhh. Quest 3 and beefy PC. I also recommend the Buttkicker pro and ATS accessories turn signal for even more immersion. Retired driver and love this game.
Hiring a driver and buying him a truck takes weeks of game play to pay for the truck and see any profit.
Which mods do you use for maps?
Reforma. ATS Expansion. Alaska. Promods Canada. Caribbean. Pacific and ATMX
I completely disagree with taking the highest loan amount (400K) for a used truck. Normally, you can get a cheap used truck for around 80K, so you don't want to barrow much more than that (a 100k loan is good enough). Otherwise, it will take longer, and you'll have harder time, trying to pay it back, and you will pay much more in interest.
I made $100k in like 4 hours of gameplay, so I was able to buy a used truck outright. No extra expense paying back a loan, just gas costs.
400k loan has the lowest interest, ultimately you want to have enough drivers to where they make the 5k/day payment for you. Buy a second garage, wait for $14k Volvo trucks to pop up on used market. Fix them to where the wear % is around 20% never closer to 30% cuz driver won’t want to take it out. When you go to repair the trucks hit the far right rebuild icons don’t be intimidated by the prices listed just look at the bottom for the total bill payout, which is usually 10-15k. You’ll get a useable truck for 30-40k instead of spending 100-200k. Also flatbed trailer is the best starter trailer for yourself and your drivers, it definitely helps to have one or two of them laying around for drivers to use. I Wouldn’t take the 400k until you can get some decent paying flatbed loads. 100k loan then 400k.
