Verona, Italy is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I've been. It's also the home to some of the most delicious food. Italian food is known worldwide and for good reason. Pizza, pasta, desserts, cured meats, seafood, did I mention pizza? But the dining experience in an Italian tourist town can take it's toll on your wallet, so I'm offering a few tips on how to eat in Italy on a budget. What type of food is the best bang for your buck? Where can you find cheap eats? How can you try all the gastronomical delights that Italy has to offer without going broke?

Had similar experiences all through Italy. Hard to order food, quite expensive, a lot of dough!! The grocery stores are great!!
We enjoyed Verona too.
