I love Verona. I've been there 3 times but still have not seen a lot. As I usually only have 2 weeks and visit lake Garda & Venice as well. But it's a great city. Love to explore it more!
Wow, you really know Verona by now. Thanks for sharing your experience 🤗
The city of lovers, opera, and romance in northern Italy, fair Verona has beguiled many a traveller over the centuries. Verona is absolutely worth a visit.
Verona is definitely on my bucket list of places in Italia to visit!
Agreed, should be on every Italy bucket list.
Very good images of buildings in Verona.I would like more details of the artmuseum in the castle
Thanks 🤗
From its cities to its language.. Italy oozes some real class 👌
Agreed 🤗
Thank you, Rok! Very compact and well-presented. In our Arena there had been very few games, as holding gladiators' games was veeeery expensive. There are only two documented cases of gladiatorial games. Usually, they were organised before elections! In Verona, the greatest show was the exotic animals, like giraffes, elephants, etc. The spectators would be fully stunned to see such creatures from Hell, as they then thought. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, the show lasted all day, the animals were slaughtered and everyone went home with a kilo+ of fresh meat! Thus, it was a real feast. Buildings like our Arena were more often status symbols and the first VinItaly was hold inside the Arena. Thanks Rok, you are fantastic
Thanks. Love your explanation.
I was just there last week. It was breathtaking. A place I would consider moving too.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Brings back memories of my visit in 1996. Verona is one of my favourite places in Italy!

Interesting video. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice bar for a few afternoon drinks?
You will find plenty on every mayor square.
Super Video Rok ! Very beautifully filmed and packed with information. But why don‘t you take off this sunglasses,
you are a good looking man
Thanks. Appreciate your comment. To be properly lit, I have to face the sun so sunglases are the only solution. I don't use them when filming in studio.
❤❤❤
Thank you for this lovely and insightful video about Verona. It’s an absolutely beautiful city! St Peter’s Hill was my favourite aspect, I think. 😍
I didn’t know that Shakespeare wrote ‘Romeo and Juliet’ based on real life events in the city at the time. That’s incredible! 🤩 Thank you for letting me know! I appreciate his work and influence all the more now. 🙏🏽❤️
Thanks. It is absolutely beautiful place with a lot of histroy and charm. Appreciate your comment. Glad you liked the video.
Is there a stair lift that goes to the top of St Peter's hill to see that wonderful view? Thanks.
There is a funicular, but I am not sure if it is open at the moment. At the time of my visit it wasn't. Thanks.
Video için teşekürler Veronayı gördüğüm için çok şanslıyım bana tercih hakkı sunsalar ömrümün kalan kısmını kesinlikle Veronada tamamlardım çok güzel bir şehir üstelik Venedik ede çok yakın❤
Here is a list of my Favorite VERONA Experiences & Tickets: bit.ly/VERONA_RokGoesAround
Thanks to your videos I'm visiting Verona and Ljubljana.... Want to add Istiria to my program... thinking of Losinj or do you suggest any other?
I've been to Dubrovnik Korcula Hvar and Split loved all except Split...
Thanks for asking. Depends what you want. If you want to relax in the nature than Lošinj is great. But if you also like to explore old towns than Istria with places like Rovinj, Poreč, Pula is more charming.
@@rokgoesaround amongst the 3 towns you have suggested which is best for restaurants and bars? But not like Split….. Thanks in advance…
attractive
