Everyone who says the choreography tired her out, are you kidding? Renee Elise Goldsberry literally at one point sings upside down hanging from a railing whilst performing this song and her voice is strong and consistent throughout the entire song. Not to mention the balancing ton the railing in heels, doing high kicks down a staircase...... basically Renee slays it regardless, people need to stop making excuses
H20x3 although I agree with you that Renee is a better Mimi I have to say a lot of what she does in her performance is balancing and the heels help hold her in place on the railing plus singing is all about good posture but Vanessa does a lot of running around in her performance which does make a performer run out of breath so I have to say she did pretty well despite moving across and back on the stage.
I agree. I think she did well in "i should tell you" and other songs which are controlled because she can control her voice but for this song she needs to be able to control it but also kind of let it go...like organized chaos. And you're right she looks the part very much
Yeah, her voice doesn't have that rasp and the edge that Daphne and Rosario's does. It's too sweet. Also, Vanessa is a soprano and is singing a role for a contralto. NPH really messed up in casting this.
I am one of the harshest critics of Rent out there. I adore this show. It has deep meaning to me personally and I don't feel she was a terrible choice as Mimi at all. It is a very different Mimi. Mimi is 19 years old, she sounds the most like a 19 year old girl of all of the Mimi's I have seen. Don't be so harsh and enjoy this great show. The message is still there and that is all that truly matters
I mean her performance isn't "perfect".. but the character of Mimi is a drugged out reckless stripper, and I actually think that Vanessa did a really good job portraying that. I think that's the hardest part about this song; staying true to the character vs giving a perfect performance vocally.
I have to admit I was skeptical of Vanessa Hudgens for this role- overall I think she did a great job. This song is EXTREMELY difficult for anyone. I think she did a great job.
Unpopular opinion: I think that casting Vanessa Hudgens - with her voice and demeanor on stage be all cutesy and awkwardly dancing sexy - as Mimi is perfect. After all, Mimi is supposed to be this nineteen year old girl trying to be bad. Even if she isn't trying to be bad, and she really is bad, she is still a nineteen year old girl. And a Mimi that acts cutesy and child-like is kind of perfect, since Roger does refer to her as a "little girl." So I guess in SOME ways, Vanessa was a better fit for Mimi than Rosario was. I said some, not entirely, because Rosario Dawson did an awesome job. Bottomline, they are both great fits for Mimi in different ways, and we should just watch whichever version we liked better.
I think Vanessa Hudgens just tried to hard and the blocking was to weird and wasn't right. Vanessa has the potential to be an awesome Mimi she just needs to not try as much.
Some people are really over analyzing this performance. I thought it was actually pretty good! Yeah, her voice doesn't sound like the usual Mimi's but everyone's voice is unique and different. Vanessa sounded fine to me.
Her dancing for the role is pretty good, her acting is decent and her voice is actually not that bad... but for some reason she's just not a good fit for Mimi and i can't quite pinpoint why lmao
Bryan Ha it still doesn't matter. She should be able to sing correctly and on pitch. The style may change the way you sing and where your placement is, but it doesn't make you off pitch. The problem is that Vanessa, for one thing, is singing a role meant for an alto and she is clearly a soprano.
It does matter, especially since she is a film actress too. She doesn't have the endurance needed for theater too. It's a matter of adaption. I agree with the fact that she is a soprano, and doesn't fit the alto.
Bryan Ha then she either should have trained, or talked to the choreographer about it, or NPH should have had the common sense and not cast her. There's literally no excuse.
She's fine. It's difficult to sing and dance this song at once so comparing it to the film is useless. And yeah, she's not as great as she should be to be on Broadway but this was the Hollywood Bowl, people. Jeez. Neil Patrick Harris wasn't trying to replicate the musical or the film, he was doing a different version. There's really no point in saying it wasn't better than the original or the film because it wasn't supposed to be.
What people seem to forget here is that Vanessa might've played a high Mimi while singing this. I don't think anyone can sing while high and sound perfectly amazing.
I feel like Vanessa slurred her words almost too much and focused more on grinding/freaking out the audience than the meaning of what she was saying. I thought she'd be better...
i guess I'm in the minority judging from these comments....but I really didn't think this was bad at all. I've seen far worse. It was off key/pitch at times but she performed it to the best of her ability and sounded better than most pop singers could. I was entertained
This still pisses me off lol She's gorgeous but her voice is NOT strong enough to sing this song. I could forgive the voice but she also doesn't have the Mimi attitude. Just not a good fit.
Idc what some of you say, she is NOT good in this role!! She's WAY too awkward for Mimi! And don't give me the "she's better than you and you don't know what you're talking about!" Bullshit cause I've been acting since I was 8. I do know what I'm talking about.
Dang you NPH for changing the choreography for this song. I miss the traditional Mimi getting dressed upstairs and then going down to see Roger. The laughter in the background there makes me giggle.
Part of my childhood is ruined because of this. When I was younger I LOVED High School Musical (didn't every kid during that time) and seeing Vanessa as Mimi is kinda strange. It's weird. See did an amazing job with the acting and dancing!! Her singing wasn't perfect but she was still very good. She did a great job with the character!!
Yes, but you also have to remember that this is theater. You're expected to be trained. You can't have someone like Vanessa on stage and put her right next to Aaron and say that you can't expect perfection.
I feel like if she wasn't jumping around so much, her voice would sound a lot better. I think she was just out of breath and moving to much to have a clear sound
My thoughts on Vanessa doing Out Tonight. First of all IMO she is freaking gorgeous so that is a good start. Second she dances the part with abandon and that is critical. Third her voice is solid. Not great but as good or better than Rosario for example. All in all an 8 out of 10. I think all the thumbs down are because she did High School Musical and now it's cool to hate on her.
+caitlindazley Rosario is a better actress no doubt, but when you consider film enhancements I stand by Vanessa having as good or better a voice than Rosario.
Well, for Vanessa´s defense, dancing while singing is really really hard!!! You can barely breath to bring out your voice. Her movements were good, she was supposed to be sexy and wild, and she was. And also, I´m amazed that she can hit those high notes even when shes dancing so much.
Rosario Dawson's version is so much better than this one. I love Vanessa Hudgens but she sounds flat. Maybe that is why she speaks so many of the words
+Emma Mueller I feel like Vanessa will do much better as Rizzo than she did with Mimi because Mimi is a much more challenging role than Rizzo us, vocally and acting -wise
Let's be honest. Most people are just being harsh just to hate on her for being a Disney girl. She's not that bad, and yes, many have done it better. Honestly, she has potential from seeing this performance. If she got intense vocal training, she could return to this role and make it a killer. Right now, not so much, but she did not ruin this musical in any which way or form. Just look at some of the high school's that have butchered it and I assure you you will be silenced.
Okay, I'm just gonna say it: Vanessa singing this song makes me cringe, especially when she does the high notes. Plus, I think too much of Gabriella from High School Musical, so that kind ruins it and my childhood....
Oh wow! This is the first video that we get to see how far you really were. Your zoom on your camera is AMAZING!!!!!!! I love all of your videos and it was cool to see the performance aspect of this. She doesn't always sound great on this song, but she also does a lot of moving. When she's standing still she sounds decent
Reasons why so many people dislike this video: #1 They can't seem to get the Disney version of Vanessa out of their heads #2 Her voice is good but it just doesn't fit the part...she sounds too young and doesn't have that depth to her voice
Guys leave her alone. She did a decent job. No one ever said she is the best actress to portray her but she was good. Not fantastic but good. Honestly this song is very difficult to pull off. Unless you are a musical theater person, you can't really understand exactly what goes into a song like this. Her voice is a bit shaky but her dancing was very impressive. Seriously, leave her alone. She'll get better, just give her a chance.
She looks like a good Mimi her voice just isn't strong enough and the people who are saying that she's good haven't obvS learnt about rent and know as much. Or broadway she's just ruined the song to compare her with Rosario and Elise. It's just people being fans. Think about the actually musical. Her voice isn't strong enough physically we cannot reach the notes.
What do you mean she's not known for her signing? She was miss High School Musical. This part just didn't fit her and she had big shoes to fill. Everyone is going to compare her to Rosario who didn't even play Mimi in the original play that honor goes to Daphne Rubin. Her main problem was she couldn't keep her key as she was running around. Other then that I thought she sounded good.
bigblade15 Oh, High School Musical? Where everyone's voices were autotuned at a higher rate than Lil Wayne? That's an excellent example to give. Don't get me wrong (and I don't mean to offend or come off rudely by this post), I love Vanessa Hudgens, but Jeremiah is correct. Hudgens is more-so recognized as an actress than a singer. HSM was considered her "debut" as a singer and there''s a good reason no one's heard of anything regarding her singing after that.
bigblade15 Wasn't really comparing her to Rosario was just saying would rather hear her version because she can sing it and dance around stage and act. If you can't do all three then you shouldn't really be doing broadway. Which vanessa has never done before yeah she was in HSM but that's it and they edited the singing on that a lot. She should probably just stick to acting.
NOOOOO, why my favorite song. I stick to the Rent stage soundtrack, movie, and recorded on Broadway version...no Vanessa Hudgens why mess up a good song?!
Theres no doubt that Vanessa can sing and act but in theatre you need to be AMAZING at both and trained enough so your voice can take an entire show (even if its just one show). She did her best but it just wasn't up to scratch, If I attended this concert and I paid good money to get there I would be majorly disapointed. Just because she had the guts to get up there doesn't make her good at playing Mimi!
Okay, I suppose some of us are too harsh on this particular singer. But to be blatantly honest, there are hundreds of talented singers practically begging for this role. And even if she is considered a celebrity, I'm pretty sure singing in tune is much more important than popularity.
Really? Coke bump at 2:48? That was too much. She did a pretty good job singing and dancing but no Tony awards in her future for this. I'm sure she realized how difficult it is to bust out a powerhouse role like Mimi Marquez and perform live, full throttle in 3 inch heels. It's not "High School Musical" where you get to lip sync to tracks you laid down in a studio and the director can do different takes and yell "CUT!!!". When you dance/sing Mimi, you betta SLAY that shit, dwahling!!!
Seriously, I've watched about every video of Vanessa I could find, because I heard she was a train wreck. And I haven't heard anything that terrible. Maybe it's because my expectations were lowered so far, but I'm actually kind of impressed. Good for her!
People are being harsh, I understand it's not the best performance of this song - but this is a ridiculously hard song to pull off, and she committed to it and stayed in character, which is very impressive. She did not ruin this play at all, she doesn't have a strong voice, but she has a good voice, and I know there are better portrayals of Mimi, I agree, but she did well and i respect it.
I think the reason a lot of people find it so iffy is because unlike the majority of Mimi's, Vanessa is actually close to being 19, a lot closer than the often mid 20s to even 30 year lds that play her. She does bring a sense of youth to it and while she might not be the best, she actually isn't horrible.
personaly, i don't see whats so bad. there are a few off parts, but i think that vanessa did a pretty good job not only in this song, but capturing the role of Mimi. she made the role her own and thats what every good actor/actress should do.
Because the ability to "get really good looking boys" has nothing to do with her talent or artistic abilities, which is what this video is supposed to depict.
Don't be so mean, She was trying it out, participating things. She DOES have talents because she does so many different kinds of roles. It was what she had to do. It was a role...it is not like she invented it
People are saying Mimi is so hard to cast, the song is so hard to sing - don't people realize that for 16 years, the Broadway production found at least a dozen extrememly qualified and talented Mimis, and more for national tours? If people were paying to see this, there was no excuse to hire someone who simply could not perform vocally at the level that's required.
Okay, she's not fantastic, but we have to remember that she's not a trained Broadway singer. She's a Disney singer who isn't used to performing live. She probably wasn't the best choice for the role, but that's not her fault. She didn't cast herself, the director and creative team cast her. And she did a pretty good job for somebody who hadn't done anything like it before. That's just my two cents though.
+little lotte I absolutely agree! Her performance was phenomenal and flawless. I actually cried during There Are Worse Things. She proved me wrong BIG TIME 🙂
Ok, I have hated Vanessa's version at first, but this video has better audio quality and she is really great! Maybe she sounds better with Auto-Tune, but she has a great voice without it!
I think lots of people dislike her based on the fact that she's Vanessa Hudgens. I think she's decent in this, but she can't hold a candle to the film Mimi.
Hey guys cut her some slack it's a hard song to sing. Granted others have done the part of Mimi a lot better but she at least tried that's what matters even if it wasn't her greatest performance.
I bet her friends saw this and after the show when she asked "How did I do?" they smiled and said "you were so pretty up there", "what great lighting!', "loved your costume!"...If it were me i would have said " You just ruined one of my favorite musicals.....friendship over......FRIENDSHIP OVER!!!!!!"
Honestly guys You should only comment on how bad her singing was if you were put in her shoes. Obviously the director casted her for her dancing AND her singing. Maybe she was a little flat on some notes, but for real most of you guys would be too if you were singing a song with VERY soprano notes WHILE dancing and running around onstage like a maniac. (if you don't know what soprano means you should have never commented on this page) oh and one last thing if you think I'm standing up for her b
Daphne Rubin-Vega was almost 30 when she played Mimi on Broadway and she is the original Mimi. Vanessa Hudgens was 23. Give her 6 or 7 years of training and she may be as good as Daphne.
I like this because it's awesome to see Vanessa in a role other than the sweet innocent Gabriella in High School Musical, although she is good there too
In my opinion, portions of the song are actually pretty well done. I think Vanessa has a decent voice, but I think the higher notes were off because she wasn't supporting her voice. She was out of breath, and with all that dancing I don't blame her. With all the dislikes I was expecting much worse! To be completely honest, I was pleasantly surprised. I think you guys are being a tiny bit harsh.
Everyone who says the choreography tired her out, are you kidding? Renee Elise Goldsberry literally at one point sings upside down hanging from a railing whilst performing this song and her voice is strong and consistent throughout the entire song. Not to mention the balancing ton the railing in heels, doing high kicks down a staircase...... basically Renee slays it regardless, people need to stop making excuses
shes the best live mimi
H20x3 although I agree with you that Renee is a better Mimi I have to say a lot of what she does in her performance is balancing and the heels help hold her in place on the railing plus singing is all about good posture but Vanessa does a lot of running around in her performance which does make a performer run out of breath so I have to say she did pretty well despite moving across and back on the stage.
renee also had months to prepare for her role whereas these type of concerts at the hollywood bowl have less than a week
it fascinates me to compare how much she fails at this compared to five years later when she completely nailed Rizzo.
jamesthemaniac completely agree wth this!!!!!
The song doesn't fit her voice. I feel like this was too much! I am a huge fan of Vanessa and Rent but them combined isn't the best combo.
I feel Vanessa LOOKS like Mimi, just doesn't have the depth in her voice to sound like Mimi.
I agree. I think she did well in "i should tell you" and other songs which are controlled because she can control her voice but for this song she needs to be able to control it but also kind of let it go...like organized chaos. And you're right she looks the part very much
Mimi is normally played by a black girl. Mimi is a black-latina....
Ymani Wade
Mimi is Hispanic, but you can be black, white, etc. and still be Hispanic. :P Vanessa Hudgens is mixed.
Yeah, her voice doesn't have that rasp and the edge that Daphne and Rosario's does. It's too sweet.
Also, Vanessa is a soprano and is singing a role for a contralto. NPH really messed up in casting this.
*****
...that's what I said. Her father is Irish and Native American, and her mother is Filipino-Chinese-Spanish.
Wow... Gabriella has gotten really desperate since Troy broke up with her...
Belladonna Poe um excuse me troy and gabriella never broke up FaKE fAn!!111!!!
Hey, we don't know what happened after graduation. :P
true... touché alright you win this one ;)
Oh my god. I knew I recognised her from somewhere !!
I am one of the harshest critics of Rent out there. I adore this show. It has deep meaning to me personally and I don't feel she was a terrible choice as Mimi at all. It is a very different Mimi. I have to admit I was skeptical of Vanessa Hudgens for this role- overall I think she did a great job. This song is EXTREMELY difficult for anyone. I think she did a great job.
Aaron's doing a great job sitting in the background
Unpopular opinion: I think that casting Vanessa Hudgens - with her voice and demeanor on stage be all cutesy and awkwardly dancing sexy - as Mimi is perfect. she was a stripper and a drug addict, I don't think she is meant to look cute and innocent. vanessa acts like a college girl in spring break.
+clairbear011 wasn't she in Spring Breakers? XD
I wish I could break into Aaron's apartment and ask me to take me out tonight without him freaking out
Love that comment and love your usernane! Greetings from Germany
Eponine Thenardier Enjolras you and my best friend would really get along xD
She sounds like she's drunk at a karaoke bar...but performs like she's underage. Uncomfortable to watch really.
Chel Daggr yeah some of the choreography made me feel like she was trying to hard & she looked like she was desperate for boys to notice her
I think Vanessa Hudgens just tried to hard and the blocking was to weird and wasn't right.
I was expecting so much worse. I mean was it fantastic No. But It could have been a lot worse
Her dancing for the role is pretty good, her acting is decent and her voice is actually not that bad... but for some reason she's just not a good fit for Mimi and i can't quite pinpoint why lmao
+lorenax17 her voice is too light and sweet for Mimi. And Vanessa is singing out of her range. There's no way she's an alto.
+Casey J You can't blame her though. Her voice is alright, it's just that she's been trained for years for pop and broadway isn't all pop.
Bryan Ha it still doesn't matter. She should be able to sing correctly and on pitch. The style may change the way you sing and where your placement is, but it doesn't make you off pitch.
The problem is that Vanessa, for one thing, is singing a role meant for an alto and she is clearly a soprano.

guys chill this was actually pretty enjoyable i love vanessa
What people seem to forget here is that Vanessa might've played a high Mimi while singing this. I don't think anyone can sing while high and sound perfectly amazing.
This is one of the most akward videos i watched in long time
nobody can top Rosario's version of Mimi, just saying..
***** Yesss Renee was amazing as Mimi!
Ugh I love Renee so much ❤️❤️❤️ but Rosario was also great
+jenalia lasalde Daphne forever!
Reneeeeeeeeeee is amazing, she SMASHED this role!
I feel like Vanessa slurred her words almost too much and focused more on grinding/freaking out the audience than the meaning of what she was saying. I thought she'd be better...

roger's like BITCH GET OFF MAH TABLE
No he's more like, "Dammit, where's Daphne when you need her...."
This still pisses me off lol She's gorgeous but her voice is NOT strong enough to sing this song. I could forgive the voice but she also doesn't have the Mimi attitude. Just not a good fit.

Okay so Vanessa is probably my least favorite Mimi but I'm kind of surprised at how many dislikes this video has.
Dang you NPH for changing the choreography for this song. I miss the traditional Mimi getting dressed upstairs and then going down to see Roger.
The laughter in the background there makes me giggle.
Thank you for uploading this. Awesome !
Part of my childhood is ruined because of this. When I was younger I LOVED High School Musical (didn't every kid during that time) and seeing Vanessa as Mimi is kinda strange. It's weird. TBH she's not a good Mimi. She's such a good girl. You can see that she's forcing herself in terms of how she's portraying Mimi.
Yes, but you also have to remember that this is theater. You're expected to be trained. You can't have someone like Vanessa on stage and put her right next to Aaron and say that you can't expect perfection.
am i the only one who actually likes this... im js for the haters you guys couldnt even compete with her so calm down
I feel like if she wasn't jumping around so much, her voice would sound a lot better. I think she was just out of breath and moving to much to have a clear sound
I love how all the crowd whistles when she takes out her coat. OMG Vanessa has grown up so much!!!
+TristanandIsolt i understand that the difference between film and stage is HUGE but better than rosario?????? please..
+TristanandIsolt OH god. Do not compare her to Rosario Dawson.
+caitlindazley Rosario is a better actress no doubt, but when you consider film enhancements I stand by Vanessa having as good or better a voice than Rosario.
She literally bummed soon many of the notes though and then when she couldn't reach notes juts replaced them with a breathy whisper to cover it
You think Vanessa Hudgens sings better than Rosario Dawson? You're fucking deaf bro. xD
Well, for Vanessa´s defense, dancing while singing is really really hard!!! You can barely breath to bring out your voice. Her movements were good, she was supposed to be sexy and wild, and she was. And also, I´m amazed that she can hit those high notes even when shes dancing so much.
vanessa's voice is too polished for that song in my opinion that song needs a bit of gruff in it or at least breathless
Rosario Dawson's version is so much better than this one. I love Vanessa Hudgens but she sounds flat. Maybe that is why she speaks so many of the words
Is anyone else really excited to see Aaron play Danny and Vanessa play Rizzo in Grease Live?
In super excited to see Aaron!!!!! And I decided I'm giving Vanessa a second chance
+Emma Mueller I feel like Vanessa will do much better as Rizzo than she did with Mimi because Mimi is a much more challenging role than Rizzo us, vocally and acting -wise
Alexa Dembiec exactly I have hope for her

Okay, I'm just gonna say it: Vanessa singing this song makes me cringe, especially when she does the high notes. Plus, I think too much of Gabriella from High School Musical, so that kind ruins it and my childhood....
It feels like this whole thing was never choreographed, and that the director just told her what general direction she should dance in.
Edgy!
RENT
Haha, just watched your latest video and came straight here.
I am so glad I did.
Nobody gonna comment on her forgetting part of the second verse? Like, that was just insult to injury after she butchered my favorite song.
Oh wow! This is the first video that we get to see how far you really were. Your zoom on your camera is AMAZING!!!!!!!

Not gonna lie, I have always loved Vanessa's voice =))
Off key off pitch off rhythm. Sorry, I've seen her do so much better.
NOOOOO, why my favorite song. I stick to the Rent stage soundtrack, movie, and recorded on Broadway version...no Vanessa Hudgens why mess up a good song?!
I agree. She just doesn't suit it! I prefer Rosario and Renee as mimi
Rosario,Renee and Daphne is the real deal
High school musical fans will love this..
Musical theatre people will despise it.
Theres no doubt that Vanessa can sing and act but in theatre you need to be AMAZING at both and trained enough so your voice can take an entire show (even if its just one show). This wasn't on Broadway. This was the Hollywood Bowl production.
Vanessa Hudgens does an awesome cover of this song
Agreed. Her acting wasn't too bad, though. I can appreciate that aspect of her performance.
Okay, I suppose some of us are too harsh on this particular singer. But to be blatantly honest, there are hundreds of talented singers practically begging for this role. And even if she is considered a celebrity, I'm pretty sure singing in tune is much more important than popularity.
Now, if only she could sing.
When you dance/sing Mimi, you betta SLAY that shit, dwahling!!!
i take back my comment, this isn't good
Seriously, I've watched about every video of Vanessa I could find, because I heard she was a train wreck. And I haven't heard anything that terrible. Maybe it's because my expectations were lowered so far, but I'm actually kind of impressed. Good for her!
That would be perfect, just perfect
People are being harsh, I understand it's not the best performance of this song - but this is a ridiculously hard song to pull off, and she committed to it and stayed in character, which is very impressive. She did not ruin this play at all, she doesn't have a strong voice, but she has a good voice, and I know there are better portrayals of Mimi, I agree, but she did well and i respect it.
@mollyr11 it is her mom and dad i only noticed i can tell because how happy they are watching their daughter perform
I still like Rosario Dawson better than Vanessa Hudgens
Shes awesome!!!!
She's trying to perform rather than be mimi.
Keep in mind she does not come up with her own choreography. She's told what to do and where to move and how
vanessa the best i love!!!!
personaly, i don't see whats so bad. there are a few off parts, but i think that vanessa did a pretty good job not only in this song, but capturing the role of Mimi. she made the role her own and thats what every good actor/actress should do.
Ok so everyone is commenting opinions on Vanessa, but why aren't we focusing on the fact she alwayyyyysss gets really good looking boys :(((
Because the ability to "get really good looking boys" has nothing to do with her talent or artistic abilities, which is what this video is supposed to depict.
I didn't think it was logically possible, but Vanessa, you just over-sexified an exotic dancer.
I love Vanessa
OH MAN hell yeah
And this, folks, is exactly why she doesn't deserve to play Rizzo in Grease: Live
she did Broadway last year. and she got a lot of positive review. rent is on 2010, it's not fair to judge because something happens 5 years before.
+little lotte I absolutely agree! Her performance was phenomenal and flawless. I actually cried during There Are Worse Things. She proved me wrong BIG TIME 🙂
I liked her as Rizzo
Vanessa is really talented! None of u could have done any better!!
This wasn't bad you guys can't compare her to the original
Yes I do, and I've posted all that I have from it. There's an entire playlist from August 7th which covers every song performed.
wow, i didn't know she could actually sing. im impressed
I agree! I've never been high before, but I can imagine it's not that easy to sing and dance while high.
hello! do you have the whole show? thank you :)
She's actually not a bad singer. She just didnt do well in this one. If you listen to her in without you and light my candle she sounds a lot better.
just give it a break!!!!!!!!!!!1 vanessa hudgens is the most talented girl that i've ever known in my entire life
