He had the same problem when I saw them last year in May. But you could tell he sounded a little hoarse then, and he played the entire set with no stops. Just kept going off stage when he wasn’t singing to grab water. I honestly think he sounded fine here.

Late night 2am the summer before freshman year on mtv2 back when it was still good, the music video sold me. I'd only heard of them thru the grapevine at that point but I've been a maggot ever since. 22 years of being a member of the maggot family! LONG LIVE THE KNOT! 🤘

I've seen them at Download before and was a lot nearer the front, but this time I stood further back as I wanted to see the whole stage and the towers. To see 99% of that huge audience crouch down at Corey's request then jump up was insane. Love Corey, love Slipknot.
If there was a poll asking people what was the funniest thing you heard a musician say over the Download weekend, I think Corey saying "twenty quid" would win! Loved Slipknot's set, a fantastic performance to close an amazing weekend.

A mate was futher up and said him and a few other people were handing passed out people over the fence. Was a fucking great set and day other than that.

I will never forget 2nd stage Ozzfest 1999 (shoreline amphitheater). been a fan ever since. That said 1st 3 albums are the best after that hit or miss. But still qood. Volume 3 my favorite. Iowa #2 debut #3.
