Yours also had a head gasket problem? The reason I am asking is if someone else has also had this problem. I am definitely going to build the air duct (cardboard pattern at 12:50 min mark) to get the air from the fan to the top of the head where it's needed. Thanks for commenting.
TSR Garage yes. I bought a house that has a 50x80 garage. The former owner left a 80 gallon snap on compressor there. He said it needed valves. After watching your vid, I think I’m going to do a little more exploration. I put it on FB market place for $500. Had a lot of interest. No wonder. I think I can repair it. Thanks again
E BAY From seller pacificaircompressors. I will add the link to both (part 1 & 2) video discriptions www.ebay.com/itm/SNAP-ON-GASKET-SET-FOR-MODEL-BRA9G3B/272029921835?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Have you checked out my other video "Air Compressor Modification, keeping it cool". I believe it will keep it from happening again. ua-cam.com/video/eJYztqn8H0Y/v-deo.html
So I took the top end off and it’s nowhere near as clean as your is. Lots of carbon build up. 2300 hours. I’ve decided to rebuild the entire head unit. $164 for the kit. We will see what happens
TSR Garage I think so. When I removed the top, the gasket seemed to be deteriorated and separated. I noticed the small cylinder didn’t move as freely as the bigger one. I’m going to clean everything, lube it up, and pick it back together. I’m hopeful it works. If not, I’ll just buy a head and slap it on there.
Thank you for this video. I have a snap on compressor and I was about to sell it for $500. Glad I saw your repair

Was the head gasket leaking?
