When the pilot passes, does his/her estate receive 100% of the balance? I am under the impression the surviving spouse and/or children only receive 50% of the balance, in an annuity. Am I reading that wrong?

We have not seen anything related to the specifics of how the plan will pay out on death, other than that 100% goes to the estate.
