one of the guys in the barbershop quartet was a teacher at my school (secondary school), a maths teacher. one day he said he wouldn't be in next Monday and disappeared off for like 3 months, I think he was ill or something and after that, he did supply work and now he's in a barbershop quartet with Joe Lycett. didn't know you were such a madlad Mr. Mawson. good luck with your barbershop quartet!
@Statism is EVIL well that kind of behaviour is not going to get anyone behind your cause. Also I think your profile picture is 100% right, master hand has got the whole world on strawberry laces, I'm glad someone finally sees the truth
It took me all of 1 minute to get what was going on despite never having heard about this show before. Hilarious. Americans will never understand this brand of comedy.
wolfspain7385 ... I’m British but I disagree I think Americans do this sort of messing about thing all the time, all you have to do is watch things like the Simpsons or Family guy or the 40 year old virgin and so on to get that they understand irony
Although of course I'm stereotyping, you find that Americans use sarcasm more often as a comedic trope rather than an entire theme like this show is doing. In the shows you've mentioned, the majority of the comedy in them panders to the general, American audience and employs different forms of comedy such as satirical, racial or toilet humour. I don't think I need to prove my point in the case of Family Guy. For every show you named I can name a British, comedy show which more or less thrives on the theme of sarcasm (Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses, The Office). I don't think these shows would have been as famous in America in their original forms (Hence why they changed the style of the Office when they made an American remake). In fact, I heard an American girl saying yesterday that she had found it difficult to adjust to British sarcasm as she barely knew when people were joking or serious. (Also, irony and sarcasm are different.) So, although I understand they're not all idiots that have no idea what sarcasm is, I'd contend that the majority of Americans don't use it as often because they simply don't find it funny which often means they don't always realise when someone is being sarcastic.
Brilliant, especially Linda, Lynda, Barbara and Joe! I’d have thought they’d have asked ‘Linda’ is ‘she’ wanted to go punching dolphins 🐬 with Biggins and Joe 😂 I’m in such a bad way with pain and now I’m crumpled with stomach pain!
Did anyone else feel compelled to Google Who invented chairs? I mean I'm not an idiot I know the whole Mr chair invented chairs thing is a joke but it made me wonder when chairs were first invented
Joe Lycett? I only know Hugo Boss, and Hugo Boss wants to kill all dolphins...
Preach it sis ☺️😂

What’s that walrus? We couldn’t possibly kill all the dolphins
His inner voice/psychotic spirit animal
Cute But Evil i’m not sure you got the funny
@@Trickward Actually I'm not sure YOU got it. Walrus is Joe's spirit animal. He says so in a comedy show.
Jonah S Actually I’m not sure YOU get it, this isn’t Joe Lycett, it’s Hugo Boss.
@@Trickward Funny, but Joe changed his name back. He's now Joe Lycett, the comedian formerly known as Hugo Boss, who was formerly known as Joe Lycett.
Get you a man that looks at you the way Greg James looks at Joe Lycett

Greg James.... whoaaaa ;-) Hello there haha
He should of said the barbershop quarter was called LLBJ
Well that title didn't age well...
joyyy When do you think killing dolphins was appropriate lol
I want to avoid dolphins? Since I’m genuinely allergic to them. (Contract causes rashes).
Debbie McGee....

He is actually such a good singer.
7:48 someone went full Michel Jackson there
His singing was the best part of my day. 😱❤️❤️❤️😂
To say joe was faking it, that quartet number was really good 😂
The Tension
Joe was doing the ‘what people did before it was invented’ meme before anyone else.
Okay but what us with the grammar on "james's" surely it should be james' ??
Alicia Bruce Doig i believe both are correct
It should be James' but James's is also accepted. :)
What us?
yes
Why are both correct, seems a silly rule when you never hear anyone being called jame as a full name
The mention of the tour to Tipton 😂
Well you need some white people to visit !!
I have a sudden urge to join a Barbershop Quartet...
News in 2090 : Inspired by the success of Simon Chair, Joe Lycet invented the Lycet , now popular all over the world!
