In the US military no one would be applauding the last soldier to arrive, in stead the drill instructor would yell, scream, and punish the last soldier or group of last soldiers.

Well,that is why U.S troops are so shitty. Navy Seals are told never to engage Norwegian soldiers,since they most certainly would kick their American assessment all the way back across the Atlantic Ocean.
