He said its panful because rates are high but inflation is coming down and inflation is more important than higher rates. he is out of his mind .
If they were serious about dealing with inflation they'd stop issuing so much debt which is driving up the yields and therefore interest rates! They are trying to convince people that the consumer is spending too much so they have to raise rates to tame the economy when the reality is the economy is dead. Cut spending and cut the government and watch how interest rates magically fall.

Energy prices have been up because OPEC keeps propping up the price of crude in the commodities market by making several strategic production cuts each time crude weakness shows its ugly head.
Insurance up the most. My auto premiums doubled. I haven't had an accident or ticket in almost 20 years. I work from home, so hardly any miles put on my car.

Labor Market Strength numbers don’t give accurate information, many of these jobs are lower paying jobs that will not provide for a family.
