yesss, i needed this. Have had a mens blazer that I bought at a thrift store for like 2 years (oops😂). First I wanted to turn it into dress but I was clueless how and dus lacked the motivation, hopefully now I am finally going to do it.
These Mini Snap buttons are truly a lifesaver 😂😍 I used them on a few wrap tops to close the cleavage a little bit so I don't feel like I'm flashing anyone 😂 works great 👌🏻
Where are the thrift stores u go to in Sydney? I’ve been searching for stores but they are mostly vinnies and they don’t really have nice clothing pieces
Any tips on how you would deal with lining throughout? I have a pink suit jacket I’m thinking about doing this with but it has all the qualities you were glad yours didn’t 😂
Ooooh! pink suit jacket LOVE! I would say put the lining and shell right sides together, sew along the open edge to leave a little gap and flip it inside out & finish off the open edge? I hope that makes sense!!
Urg, i’m making this for a friend (as a present), HAHA whilest not being the most experienced clothing sewer. (Used to make leather bags ... so I only have like the tiniest knowledge about clothes) I dead ass fucked myself over but, I’m gonna manage (hopefully) with your video HAHA (Also gonna watch the video u spoke of in the beginning hopefully it’s going to help aswel haha) How did you start your clothing sewing journey? Where did learn how to sew?? I’ve learned how to sew leather bags at school, I’m honestly so so clueless rn haha 😅🥲 (Pps, so so so so anxious to cut into the blazer)
"Australian Private School Girl Vibes" - Not the aesthetic we deserved but the aesthetic we needed.
