    i saw that you have your fuel pump off, i rented a pa28-181 carbureted today and I couldn't get it to start for about 3 times. I did the flooded start without the fuel pump and it finally fired up, anybody got some more advice to start that thing a little better. Note it was at 10am and the temp was about 3c.

      Fuel pump doesn’t do anything for starting on a carbureted engine. Not sure why it’s even in POH

      Initial start I turn full pump on to build pressure then shut off. No fuel pump on hot start.

    Where does pilot press to accelerate plane?

      Push forward the black throttle leaver. Take break off…get instructor to give you a lesson.
