Nice work! I just replaced the motor in my xB as well and I left the axle in and accessories on for install. But if I do it again, definitely would remove the axle as I was a PAIN getting the engine re-aligned lol. I also had the same issue with the belt that had me scratching my head for a while but just got the 1935 belt and it fit. I believe they are both 2.4 motors but something was off with the belt.
Yes. Wanted to see how much you would charge and if you know were i can get an engine. I see a lot of places selling low mile jdm engines. Not sure if you know of a spot.
I messaged you on Instagram. I think I found your account. I bought it used and when I removed the valve cover it was full of gunk. I started getting low oil pressure and code p0012 and cylinder 1 misfire. Cylinder compression looks good though.

How did you pull it without the transmission ?
Yes
Just remove passenger axle and catch the trans fluid with a oil pan.
