This is one way to employ as many people as possible in the least efficient methods. All this work recycles waste to thread, but the fibers are SO short... like dryer lint.... the thread can have very little strength. Anything made with this thread will fall apart quickly. OSHA would have a field day with bare feet in the workplace and fibers floating in the air like snowflakes. Lung diseases must be rampant. As a spinner/weaver, I know the length of the raw fiber is paramount to the life of the end product. I am surprized they are able to produce thread of any "quality" with this fiber.
