I love the way the play Motorbreath. That is my favorite Metallica song ever. Why couldn't they just do Motorbreath as a whole song and not a medley? I love all their Sum 41 does Metallica videos but the 43 seconds where they play Motorbreath is the best part out of all the videos.
I once heard in an interview derrick said that sum 41 hopes that they exist in the 80's because they isn't really into it with punk rock. They did it just for commercial reason because as we all know that punk rock is hype in the late 90's and early 2000's the year that they were big. That's why they did "pain for pleasure" and did a lot of metal covers.
I'm an old skool punker! (Sex Pistols, The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers) But I must say these guys have talent! Bands like this are taking punk to the next level! Good stuff!

Their stuff without him is decent, but I just can't get into it without Dave. idk I felt he added a little something with his playing, especially in Chuck. I just felt they were better with him, but they are still pretty successful after his departure. They are definitely a great band that will be remembered for a looonngggg time

Ever listen to the originals of the songs Metallica has covered? Metallica changed a lot and we love it because that was the version we heard first. So, it is cool to see Sum 41 cover their idols... even if their original music sounds nothing like it. :)

@NooBFTWin Dude blink are awesome as, and they are all actually extremely talented musicians, just because their music is not technical doesnt mean they cant be, they're a pop punk band, thats not the most instrumentally technical genre, but it doesnt mean they're bad at their instruments. Tom DeLonge is an amazing singer when not drunk (watch the I Miss You live Pepsi Smash video, he was amazing cause he was sober), and Mark Hoppus is usually really good live vocally.
