I went with This Spells Love because I’ve been wanting a romance and it sounded great to me! Was surprised that you never posted for October BOTM. I’ve seen a lot of people skip this month and it wasn’t for the romance, I would have probably picked a member fave. Hopefully you get to pick a book for December!
Again and Again sounds like a fun read. I like time travel stuff plus I often wonder if our souls have incarnated for thousands of years. Let Us Descend also sounds good. Check & Mate might be interesting because I play chess.
I don't belong to Book of the Month. But I like to catch you videos on it because I will either check them out through Libby or put them on my TBR list. I have gotten some good reads because of your synopsis on them. I have to agree, this is a skip month.
I went with Let Us Descend after I heard Oprah talk about it. I recently bought myself a gift subscription because they had a discount going on which gave me a free add on. I choose Signal Fires. I always try to get a book because I love the whole process and end up enjoying most of them. Last month I selected The Leftover Woman and found it compelling. I’ve also joined Aardvark and that’s been fun too. Just something about those monthly boxes.
I do enjoy BOTM though I normally skip four or five months each year. I actually don’t mind that not every month is going to be exciting for me. I have a huge TBR on my bookshelves so I’m never without a book to read. This month I did skip the main picks but for the first time I picked up a members favorite…The First Wives.
I don’t think I have ever skipped there are definitely months where I am more excited than others but I also love getting the add ons on the months I am less excited I definitely want the new Ali Hazelwood ad on. I am debating between This Spells Love and Let Us Descend. I am going to look into them some more and order tomorrow 😊

I almost skipped too but I was one box away from BFF status and I wanted that status so I went with One Last Love Note and added Lessons in Chemistry and Spells for Forgetting since I’ve been wanting those for a while. I hope they have a better selection next month.

I'm currently reading Shriek: An Afterword by Jeff Vandermeer (one of my absolute favorite authors!), but Again and Again sounds interesting!
