I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again her books when you look at it from a writers perspective, she has good writing techniques. It’s just again the men in all of her books are toxic. If someone can understand the fact that the men are toxic, then it shouldn’t matter whether there a teenager, an adult or a three year-old. I actually enjoy Hoover’s books for this reason( She teaches what toxic relationships can look like. It may not be the best kind of teaching, but she does teach it). As well, when you look at this generation of teenage girls, they’re not as naïve as some of the past generations, statistically, this generation is the lesser naïve out of all of them. You’ll have to understand I’m not just teenage girls read them a few teenage boys and adults also read her books. Again, statistically most of Colleen Hoover books actually end up going to adult females.- just to restate that I don’t disagree with you at all but knowing the things that I know and doing the research that I’ve done her books aren’t that bad for teaching what toxic relationships can look like if you want to know what toxic relationships can look like.

He did not ruin her career, she said herself that she found out later in life that she preferred TEACHING acting over the actual acting and it made her happy.
And he didn’t cheat on her, not much of an excuse but: she gave him the idea that she didn’t want him anymore, he wasn’t mature enough in the moment to realize that she was leaving for his own good at the time, in his eyes, she “broke up” with him, when it was all miscommunication.

For a second I thought it was gonna be "If he had been with me" which by the way is a painfully numbing book, go read it 🙏 or I thought it was gonna be a Hanna Grace book (like icebreaker or wildfire, which I really don't know what to feel about the Icebreaker series, personally I liked it but a lot of people supposedly don't so read if you want, but WARNING: All of the Hanna Grace books are extremely dirty and ment for people 18+, I am a little younger than 18, and I was absolutely shocked. 💀😶

My friend described her books as someone who did not experience Wattpad which LMFAO so true 💀💀 I haven’t read one of her books but damn if her writing is Wattpad level like not even the good level of Wattpad then that’s tragic

As a classic reader, this book was 😭😭 I don't wanna say anything. Just i will never touch any of her books. The kite runner, A thousand splendid suns, i fell in love with hope, Tuesday with Morrie, 40 rules of love, on earth we're briefly gorgeous, and classics of Jane Austen, Virginia Woolf, Emily Dickinson, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare wins 😭

Facts, tbh I don't even know why people love her books😭I read a book of hers once(it ends with us) and HE LITERALLY BROKE HER PROMISE(they promised each other to not have intercourse until she's comfy and ready) AND R*PED HER, and even then she forgave him and stayed married with him.
