My friends and I ran into Hettsu at Aftershock festival. She was buying Dippin dots ice cream. We asked for a picture, but sadly turned us away. It was still cool we got to see her.

Also I would like to add: TELECiDE, TRiDENT and Dreamcatcher (older stuff (also I know it’s kpop but it is similar though not nearly as loud and heavy))
I wonder how long it takes people to realize that this song doesn't have a chorus and that there is no part that gets repeated? You really don't need a conventional songs structure to have a catchy song 😄
Matsuri is a flat-out brilliant composer. Songs with so many change-ups, so many genre influences, etc. by all rights should be a barely listenable mess. Instead, Hanabie never miss.
I think their metal scene is great largely because they are more accepting of different people doing it or the like. American Metal all too often tries to typecast.

I’ve been rolling with this band since the beginning of 2019 and still can’t get enough of them. This song & album made me into a diehard fan! They’ve made themselves at home in my holy trinity with BAND-MAID & Dir En Grey.
I ration myself to watching it only once a day because I've learned that I'll grow tired of even the greatest song in the world if I listen to it too much. And I don't want to grow tired of this song because it is so freaking amazing.

This singlehandedly is the best metal song ive ever heard period. they have surpassed everybody. Influenced by all while sounding like none other. I will say, i spent 3 hours of my life watching reaction videos just because i Love this song. First off the drummer is PERFECT. Any rocker and everybody that reacted had the same tempo head bang with every changeup, and the drums pushed everything through PERFECTLY. The Bass carries everything along, the freaking guitar riffs were actually insane, and the harmonics with the singing and screamo with the different parts were freaking master composer class. But the bass really was the perfect accompaniment to the lead itself. Like these 4 instruments (Yukari?s freaking voice) is all you need and its so freaking fufilling. while others lack with more instruments or overimpose with less. THIS WHOLE SONG IS PERFECT. It would not be the same with a different bass, bass tone, rhythm, or even player. AND NOW THE GROWLING SCREAMING RAPPING SINGING FREAKING LEAD. So enthusiastic, such a character, great performer. But her tone is on point and the growling and screaming. When it comes to screamo its definitely its own thing. Usually its heavy grungy and just plain metal, or heavy rock, and people will say "its got screaming, I dont like it." But not a single soul could turn away from her. I BET. This is my favourite Metal band in the world past present future, saying it now. BandMaid has laid claim to rock, Hanabie has metal, Linkin Park alternative.
