I love Yukina's vocals. Probably my favorite part of Hanabie, but I love the band as a whole. They are one of my favorite bands out of Japan and I've come to love the Japanese metal and rock scene over the last year and a half. It's practically all I listen to anymore. I probably listen to 50 Japanese bands on a regular basis now. Hanabie is coming to Virginia for the Blue Ridge Rock festival this year and I'm tempted to fly across the country just to be there for their US debut.
I bet that’s gonna be a crazy show
I just read the line up and seems they will be the only ALL FEMALE band there, while many are mostly all male or female fronted ones. That gives you an idea how different is the music culture in both sides of the ocean.

I recommend checking out their song Reiwa Dating Apps Generation. For a song that doesn't have a MV I would recommend Our 7 Days War. That is my all time favorite from them.

Hanabie = #Harajukucore = 🔥🔥🔥🔥 They are no one trick pony or one hit wonder, their album “Girl’s Reform Manifest” was my favorite of 2021.
They cover a range from brutal AF to fun and silly but they have a social conscience and it’s often the subject of their songs. It’s funny, if you listen to their lyrics you’ll find your moms would like them, which is a bit odd for a very heavy metal band. I love this band, the juxtaposition of Harajukucore is, apparently, very much my thing - that and Yukina’s propensity for extreme violence in their MVs. 😜
David: I have jammed Baby Metal so I was bit more prepared than these guys but this was an amazing song so I can’t wait to hear more from them.

You guys should react another female rock/metal band from Japan - Lovebites, Nemophila, Band Maid. If you like instrumental song, a trio band Asterism. For heavy riff and heavy song just like Black Sabbath, Ningen Isu, older but still active.🤘

I recommend 'Neet Game' next. Every Hanabie song is fire. But that is a cool music video.

Hanabie are just the best Japanese metal band for me. If you like a wild mix of many (sub)genres check out their new song "Pardon me, I have to go now" and also their roots Maximum The Hormone (they started as a MTH cover band) wich you could describe a little bit as a Japanese SOAD. 🤘❤🔥

@@Wirmish Yes, Band-Maid have more songs, but NO Band-Maid is NOT better than Hanabie. Band-Maid are also not the best Japanese rock band. BRATS are better.

I have subscribed and liked and am now feeding the algorithm. I have two reasons, one being I had a glance over your previous videos and note so far they consist in large part of the same boring old western metal bands who in any sensible world would now be merely fondly remembered for their quaint style.
However you, with this band and the recommendations that I suspect a going to come in for an absolute kaleidoscope of insanely talented and diverse bands - a lot being all female (of particular interest to me lol).
If you follow this rabbit hole there should be two major benefits for the channel - a significant upsurge in subscribers. The other is that you appear far too young to be old fogies mired in the past... open you hearts and minds to unbelievably brilliant all girl band of Japan - Alright there are some great male and mixed bands, you can listen to those as well, I'll just ignore those videos 🤪

You can listen to any song Hanabie (Hanabie-eh) has released. They are all good. Very unusual to see that. Hanabie with their first album Girls Reform Manifest and also Japanese all girl metal band Nemophila have done that too on their first two albums. Every songs a winner. Two best metal bands along with Lovebites right now.
We’ve been getting a lot of Nemophila. I think we’ll be checking them out this week.

Hanabie has many good song's, L.C.G, Envy, SUNRISE 味噌SOUP, NEET, (Pardon me, I have to go now) is the new single. They don't have a bad song believe it or not.

This is what you get when Babymetal and Maximum the Hormone have a love child. They actually started in high school, playing MTH covers. Clearly one of THE new metal bands to watch. Most of their songs are quite pointed, concerning social issues like dating app abuse, drugs, human trafficking, cheating etc. “We Love Sweets” is about having an unhealthy relationship to sugar. @@metalheadsjourney lol Just don't show him Babymetal. :D You should show him Hanabie's song Bokkuwasu though. It doesn't have a video but the song is freaking fantastic, and it doesn't have too much of the high pitched vocals.

I don't know if you saw my comment on that video, but Babymetal has a song called Babymetal Death, and at the end of the "Legend 1997" live performance they have at least two different homages to "And Justice For All" like you guys talked about in the "Road of Resistance" reaction.
