Looks fantastic. Do you have a video showing more traditional long cook of plate ribs or short ribs?
My family has always cut every type of rib...we all like a strong smoke flavor and cut all pork and beef ribs. This lets in more smoke into the meat and much more of the dry rub also since there are three sides exposed instead of just ONE side! I am also in Texas (Corpitos) and most Latinos down here also do it.

Those ribs really look good Arnie! I would eat dino ribs more often, but around here to get a set of ribs like I saw in your video, it would probably be about $200.

I saw a three bone dino rib at HEB for 90 frigging dollars.
They seem to only sell USDA prime.
A short rib is the Dino rib cut at least in half but probably more.
Usually about 3 to 4 inches long.
The really short ones used to be called Chinese style ribs.

He just made some yesterday on his smoker. Holy heck they were fabulous! Best bbq I’ve ever had! He made 4 plates 4 bones each. So tender and juicy! We love your content! We want to start making our own soon

Arnie! Could you do a video on carne asada style brisket? I’m from laredo and grew up eating brisket cooked on the grill, but not the brisket everyone thinks when they hear brisket. The cut of meat is called the Navel Cut. Sliced slightly thin and cooked on an open grill with hot mesquite charcoal, then sliced and put into a taco. Do you know what I’m talking about?
Was it tender? Sounds good but that's a tough piece of meat.

Hello Arnie, just saw this video, I see all your videos, don’t know how I missed this one. I do a lot of bbq’ing, beef ribs. I buy from H‑E‑B, it usually 2 or 3 trips to find a good, meaty beef ribs. H‑E‑B doesn’t carry those super Dino beef ribs. Where did you get those from. I need some of them

The reason they are called short ribs is because they are from the short plate of the cow
Damnit man Arnie those look money. Why doesn’t those turn super dark after you wrapped those? I wrap the beef ribs when they have a pretty mahogany color, take them outta the wrap and there almost black for some reason. What’s the secret to prevent that???
