One of the best all around grill and smoker I ever owned here: bit.ly/3mmLqod
Are SIRLOIN FAJITAS and ARRACHERAS “REAL” FAJITAS? In this video we’re gonna show you how to trim, season and grill up BOTH of these delicious cuts to perfection.
Some say that ONLY the inside and outside skirt steaks are REAL FAJITAS and others say that ANY piece of beef butchered into STRIPS is a FAJITA. These are all fightin’ words and we’re bringing in these two more cuts of beef to the argument.
The fact is that a lot of people consider both of these cuts to be TRUE fajitas because they’re cut into strips, they’re soft and tasty pieces of meat, and they’re served in restaurants, food trucks, taco stands and in backyards across the world as FAJITAS. Plus! Both of these cuts are MORE TENDER than the traditional inside skirt steak fajita. Let’s get into it and fire it up!

My knowledge of the "true fajita' is that back in the day it was meat scraps that would normally go to the dogs...it was dirt cheap and the poor would buy it and learned to make a feast fit for a king. Thanks for this lovely video, I really enjoyed it. God Bless!

Then you mentioned the valley. Ive been to McAllen several times remodeling a home for a buddies madre. It kept intriguing me how close your backyards match so had to look you up. Your are town and her home are only a few miles apart. Everytime I have left there I've been sent home with stacks of homemade tortillas and or tamales. People say they like there meat medium rare.
I like it medium rare with filet mignon as the meat has a little beefiness and I like some pink juice.
For ribeye and NY strip Iike them medium coz dislike fat that is not cooked.
For very mineral and beefy meat, I like them medium well because they keep that delicious beefiness without any pink juice and find them to strong when medium rare.
So great if you like your meat rare or well done, colors and taste are personal and cannot be debated.
