Coming from a beautician who did hair 20yrs. It takes the patience of a saint. They always bring in pictures of styles their hair will not do!! LOLOLPL
From how her hair looked during the first part of the video, her texture looks super similar to mine. So I was really excited to see how it would turn out. Then I fast-forwarded to see her hair being straightened and was so disappointed. It's her hair that she has to style and wear, so whatever makes her happy though. I live where it is between 80-100% humidity year round, so even if I did want to straighten my hair, there'd be no point. Lol
As someone with fine, really straight hair, I love watching these curly girlies videos! Women with curls are practically two different people, they can be the curly girl one day and then the sleek lady the next. That is so awesome. 😊
The great thing about having curly hair is that you can wear it straight as well. I have curly hair and switch between both. She looks great with either.
I too have really thick, curly hair & have had love of a straighter look--at the salon. Then hate it because I can't replicate it--am glad you gave tips on the technique! But wish you'd (& any stylists) also show clients--and us--what it looks like without all the blowing & straightening, too, since she asked for something that would look OK unstyled, too. Guessing it's a poodle head... (Been there myself! 😂 Many times in 50+ years). But best thing for me was letting my hair grow past my shoulders, air dry & my curls love it, too!
Lisa, you're my fave hairstylist on UA-cam! I like that you're honest & tell your client if what they want will look nice or not. Thanks also to your clients for consenting to be on camera. Her new 'do looked much better. I hope she sends pics of what she looks like with straight bangs but the rest is curly.
I really liked her hair full and wavy/curls before. Just my opinion. It was flattering. I notice too now since watching probably 20 of videos that the curtain bang is being cut every video I've seen from here. Not a fan for everyone but they have to wear it, not me.
I’d love to see what it looks like curly to. Im glad she is happy with it; it does look good!! Curly hair is a different beast to deal with i had to learn the curly girl method to care for my curls when i left them curly.
The consultations would wear me out! I had a good stylist years ago tell me to choose a picture of a style with a woman whose hair was similar to my hair.
I would give anything for hair that thick and curly, I can’t even wear layers, my hair is extra fine and totally straight. Like my husband says, women always want different hair than they have.
Thanks to your clients for participating in these video. I hope this client can do a follow up to show us the curly version.

This is my favorite result yet! I'd love to see your client embrace her curls more, but obviously she likes what she likes
What a pity the client doesn't appreciate her curly hair 😢 it suits her so much better than that blown out hair
I learned that you really need to accept what you have and work WITH it. Those inspo photos were WAY off of what she has to work with.

People told me the same about my hair but I cannot change what I like and what I don't like 🤷🤷🤷 straight hair just looks so much better to me

So many people are remote-controlled, want to look the same as everyone else - and never want to look the way they look 🫣
I'd have a client come in with that kind of hair and similar pictures, and want to tell her "this is scissors, not a wand, girlfriend!"
Curly or straight looks beautiful on her. Too bad we’re always wanting the hair we don’t have
Wow a stunning transformation. I’d love to see it curly as well. Thank you 🎉
What a great haircut, it really suits this client. I would like to see it curly, though. Ask her to come back! 😂

Would have loved to see styled curly too.
Could you please do a video on someone with thin, fine, straight hair ?❤

I just had my first 'professional' haircut in YEARS some days ago. it went bad. :'(
The middle part is one of those trends that doesn't look good on most people.
Jeez...that fabulous head of hair and she wants to change it? Looks really good though❤
I neeeeeeeeed you. In Cedaredge, Colorado 😩
Where do y'all find a stylist that does a consult like that?? I've never had anyone talk with me for that long.
I have a headache now.🤕
The client absolutely does not understand her own hair. ugh.
Stop saying “like” every other word.
Like like like like, ugh!
your consultations are too long, and there's never any during content of the cuts. please show that. thanks.
