That's a lot of gorgeous curls - flattering too. Knowing what you don't want more than half the battle. That, and knowing the limits of your own hair. When you find a stylist that you can communicate with, and who is honest with you, is vital, and Liza does both incredibly well (she also cuts beautifully!)
This looks like the hair on one of those old 1890s porcelain dolls. Bangs like in the picture would be much ore contemporary. She likes it and it's what she wants and that's what's important. Having similar hair I can say the struggle is real.
Curly girl here. The triangle… 😬 It can be so hard to describe these hair frustrations to a hair dresser! You interpreted the cut so well. Kudos to you! (Did I hear Jungle - Back on 74 playing in the background? Great song!)
I thought the client did a great job. She is obviously not a professional stylist so she doesn’t know how to solve the problem. She is clearly the only one of the two that can say what she doesn’t like about her own hair and trusts that the professional can help solve it.
No-one knows what she means by triangle as people just see a lovely face and beautiful hair - the triangle is absolutely not distinctive and there's nothing bad about it. We get so hung up on certain fixations that other people don't even see... Why can't we be more generous with ourselves until we are over 50?
I love how you ask the client a lot of questions and you aren't afraid to tell them if something is not going to work. Bless you!
95% of any haircut or chemical service is in the communication between client and stylist......BRAVO for showing how it's done !

Lovely hair and curls. I would looove to see her with bangs though...

I would have loved to see her with something less symmetrical, more of a side part and some bangs
This is so therapeutic.

Loved the back but the front was too rigid and sculpted with the centre parting
It was a very nice consultation. Considering the client had a lot of " I don't want" and not a lot of "I want," it was a good haircut.

I thought the front could have been a little more edgy and modern
Lovely hair but the front is not what I expected she got the 2 sausages she didn’t want
