I sold this bought this boat a couple of month ago. Currently looking for a good deal on something bigger! But if I still had it I would take you out fishing!
What time was this? How do you find the port everglades inlet in that skiff? Planning on buying one. Worried about getting back in that inlet in the afternoon
You can launch at any boat ramp in Dania, Hollywood, or Fort Lauderdale and get to the inlet just look at google maps satellite view and follow the water ways. Coming back in is always the worst. Just pick your days. Watch the weather closely and boat traffic. I wouldn’t venture out the inlet too often in a small skiff but it’s all up to you
Nice video...If you are interested, and you want to stay close to shore, there are a set of buoys when you get out of the inlet, you head south in about 30 feet of water in between the inlet and Dania pier, you will see them. You can tie up to any of them and fish for mangrove, grunts, that kind of stuff, you just have to chum a lot. You will also be able to catch bait that will swim into the chum line behind the boat, you can also catch bait at the first or second sea buoy with a sabiki rig...Good luck and Tight Lines.
I use to take my Mom out too and she loved to fish even 25 miles out. Lost her to cancer so Im glad I was able to get her out fishing and doing many things before she got real iLL. You will remember these days you spend with your mom. Slow down with that flat bottom boat through waves.
Couple of Adventures dammn bro i think i saw u guys out here saturday when tripple g and canelo were up for the fight....i just came across ur channel today and noticed it was you. Well brotha when ever you wanna come along we should link up some time meet and greet and go deep sea fishing i have a 24ft dusky with a 250 yamaha..... well be safe out there and enjoy the mako hell of a boat 👍✌
Looks like you guys had fun! Those fish you thought where snapper outside of the inlet where grunts and the one your mom caught was a nice yellowtail snapper. If you catch one 12” or bigger it will be excellent dinner!
Hey man, be careful trying to get those snags off, I usually keep my rod pointed straight towards the snag when yanking especially with those stiff baitcasting rods...trust me I learned the hard way 😂
Finally took it offshore....Nice! What a beautiful calm day. I wish I was able to go out today. Ahhh....That yellowtail could have been a nice dinner...lol! You're Mom's a good sport....when I take my Mom out I have to go super slow or I get yelled at. Great video!!!
Thanks for replying! So at that speed you have a range of 2 hrs of cruising right? The tank will be empty in 2 hrs of navigation? Thanks for your kind reply and for sharing your wonderful video!
Pedro J. Maina At Cruise speed about 4k rpm I burn about 2 gallons per hour and I usually keep 9 gallons on the boat 6 gallon tank and a 3 gallon spare tank.
Next time take that Yozuri put it out behind the boat and slow troll. You will cover more ground that way and plenty of species including grouper will hit it especially in 20 feet of water.
Hit me up, I'll wake up at 5AM, is the best time. Btw-those were lane snappers, then legal size limit is 8". You should give FISH RULES APP a try. Like the vids, you keep simple.
I am loving watching you learn. Today you are an egg - tomorrow a chicken .Your viewers will offer you great advice. (How long before he gets an off-shore V-hull and runs over to the Bahamas) ?
coco loco Thanks! That might be a while. Lol I do plan on getting a robalo R200 in the future. I love the way it looks and it’s a great small offshore boat!
Love the Robalo (means Snook) R200: solid ride, nice high gunnels, T-top, live well...and good power; most down island ( lower Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, down through the Virgins) outboards - where parts are expensive - are Yamaha or Evinrude.
Whiskey creek area cool
Getting spend time out on the water with your mom is a gift, cherish these times...
Mom was right lol...They always are. Fish on!
I live in saint cloud,,, ide go fishing with you.... Sweet that your mom likes boating with you...

Great example of how you can pick your days and take a small boat offshore within a few miles and be okay!
Hey man, remember to reduce throttle when going thru boat wake in a smaller vessel
What boat ramp is that?
Holland Park. Google it and you will find it 👍
What is the towing capacity of your car?
2,000 lbs is the towing capacity of the 2.0 jeep cherokee
Thanks man how does it tow? Ever taken it far?
@@gabe5476 taken my boat all around Florida with zero issues
Dude your mom ROCKS!!! Come on already and get a bigger gas tank. Enjoy all your videos please keep them coming.
I was gonna say the same thing. Wish my mom would do something like that... wish my wife would too but no freaking way is she getting up at 5 am.
If you park off 441 it’s free parking crappy boat ramp but whatever
Looks like you guys had fun! Those fish you thought where snapper outside of the inlet where grunts and the one your mom caught was a nice yellowtail snapper. If you catch one 12” or bigger it will be excellent dinner!
