I did my Inner Engineering online, and my initiation was so good though i was not shaking and screaming. But overall it was amazing. It got more amazing by practicing Shambhavi mahamudra regularly. It has been 3 years of doing sadhana regularly till now without missing a single day. 🙏🏻🤗 As Sadhguru says “ Enlightenment happens quietly, like the blossoming of a flower “ .
Didn't feel much, was way too tired. Day after though I fully surrendered and felt the explosiveness. Powerfull enough to convince me. Havent missed a day since
Hey man i appreciate your videos alot. Its nice to hear someones honest take on there experience with the practices. Ive been practicing shambhavi daily for a little over 1 year. For me, i had an intense energy bubble up that felt like i couldnt contain it and if it kept going i would die. In hinesight i doubt that would have happened, just in the moment i was squirming and crying and thats how it was perceived. Have you done course corrections on shambahvi since you started the practice way back when? I feel like it would be appropriate for me to take a course corrections for it. Also Ive been practicing angamardha and surya shakti going on 2 years. Was it easy for you to stop eating meat/ eggs? I can experientially see how not eating meat/ eggs iam able to go deeper with the practices, to be honest tho iam kind of hung up on eating meat as i grew up hunting and usually have a freezer full of meat. I guess i need to try to widen my horizens food wise. Do you ever make recipes from the isha cook book they have? Sorry for so many questions, none of the ppl in my life are really about this lifestyle. Any response is appreciated. Cheers
Great to hear your sharing 🙏 and yes I do attend monthly sathsang from time to time. I think it's a great way to improve on practices and doing some volunteering. For food, I used to eat eggs but then I noticed that my stomach is upset, and because of that mind is upset, and because of that my energies are upset... Haha. So after about 2 years of shambhavi mahamudra kriya, I left eggs. Actually it was just before Shoonya initiation. Actually my wife cooks sometimes from Isha cook book. Not always though. My daily food consumption is vegetarian with less amount of onions and garlic. And for questions, not a problem, I'm always happy to hear people and their experiences, learning more about myself and others too.
Thats perceptive of you that you can discern your mind and energies being upset from the eggs specifically. Out of all the practices you've learned thru isha- shambhavi, angamardna, surya kriya, yogasana, etc, do you practice them all daily? If so, time wise it must take up a decent amount! Also, do you wake up 3-5am to do the practices? And if you do wake up early to do them, has it made a noticeable impact? Right now I do shambhavi right at sunrise, then wait 10-30 minutes or so in the quite before I run thru angamardna and surya shakti. Also, have you ever worked up to 108 cycles of surya shakti? I pushed it up last year to 84, and the build up of energy was quite something to be honest, I brought it down to 33 cycles, but I've been contemplating pushing it up again.
@@logannance5302 I haven't learned angamardana yet. I have alot of practices already like shoonya, Shakti Chalana kriya, shambhavi, yogasanas, surya kriya. I do these practices regularly. No fixed time. Depends on work, it changes but I ensure to do it everyday.
I'm initiated in 2017. In the last 5 mins my hands were automatically moved up from the lap to my shoulder level without my intention or effort. I was skeptical, surprised and afraid of this experience. Later same thing happened when I'm doing the sadhana at home as well. Didn't why is that happening. After 40 days, there is a stillness in my being irrespective of outside circumstances. Slowly lost hold of practice which is my mistake. I'm starting the mandala from today. Watching your videos for motivation. Btw the involuntary body movements are still happening since then event when I'm not practicing however, they happen only when I allow them to happen.
Hi anna, Can you please help in explaining what happened with me. Below is my experience. Last month, i have visted isha foundation Bengaluru. I sat in temple where shiva linga is consecrated. People are sitting there and i also sat to do meditation. Once i just sat, within few seconds i started crying and it was not intentional and i was not thinking anything as well. I was just crying and i saw imaginaing Sadhguru image in my head. I was also shaking a bit. It happened for 20mints. Can you please tell as per your knowledge. Thanks 😊
Anna honestly I wouldn't be the best to make any judgement on any experience. I remember one of my friends also had similar experiences, and he said it was just intense is a very powerful way. 🙏🙌
Namaskaram Hem, I see that you have done all the beginner and advanced Isha yoga programs. Will you do Kundalini yoga next? Is there any program like that in Isha foundation? I have completed Inner engineering and I have been doing my daily practices but somewhere I feel it is not enough.
Namaskaram, I have done till samyama program since that covers about all the programs. If you have access to Sadhguru exclusive, he explains that how Hatha yoga practices is raising the kundalini energy anyway. Very honestly, not sure what the next step will be. Already the practices are taking a good chunk of my day. So let's see. However the practices we are doing right now too, are definitely helping to raise kundalini energy. Thank you 🙏
@@hemjoshitv8858 In inner engineering Sadhguru talks about desire and how it is the basis of life, Do you have desires in your life? Or would you say that after doing yoga for so many years, desires automatically dissolves?? If I talk about myself, I have so many desires about the world and life that my mind always wanders around it. Would you consider desire a good thing?
Not yet, although I'm planning to transition into it. I don't eat any meats or eggs. Before I used to, but I don't anymore. Onion and garlic levels are very very low in my daily food consumption.
There's a great video about Brahmacharya by Sadhguru. It doesn't mean no fap only. That video is a great tool to clear up any misunderstanding. For myself personally I was addicted to porn but after sadhana, it is no longer a compulsion. I started talking to people, and eventually that's how I met my wife. So it's no longer a compulsive force. It's conscious.

I haven't experienced anything during initiation. Though after my regular practice I feel happier by myself and less stressed out.
That's great. Please keep up the practices. I went through a similar situation for shoonya. 🙏

Anna ,why you left yogaasnas after practicing for 1 year
I didn't left it. I do yogasanas one day and another day it's Surya kriya. Yogasanas is helps with body, aligning the body for kriya afterwards.
Do you only eat satvic food?
