I can relate to you brother I am initiated in to SHAMBHAVI by Sadhguru ji.... it's been only 29 days and I am feeling amazing....and day by day it is getting better 😊 I was hesitant to do it although I was watching Sadhguru's videos and I love him but a little bit confusion was there should I do it or not but finally I did it and I feel blessed to have Sadhguru in my life......and thanks brother this video helped my mind to understand that don't focus on compulsive thoughts just do it and I did it ❤❤❤♥️
We were initiated on the same day, how is it going for you? I am now 10 days into the mandala and haven’t really noticed a difference, but right after the kriya i usually feel very calm and peaceful❤️
@@FlamingIDuck Hi! I have also felt calm and a subtle flow of energy in my body during the next hours. I also feel more awake, not so sleepy during the day. I also tried to maintain my focus on my breathing during the day, which I can't maintain for so long yet haha, and I can feel lighter I will say. Like not so much heavyness. However, still is difficult for my to be fully involve in the kriya, while doing it my thoughts pick up momentum and I have to remind myself to comeback to the practice. And the fluttering part is very very hard yet and the last part as well. I still don't know if I am doing it right while releasing xD but i guess practice and time will do its thing.
@@valeriaestefaniao I have previous experience with bandhas so i am able to do them, try practicing stomach and anal lock separately while not doing the kriya. The fluttering was the most difficult part for me aswell, but slowly i feel like i am getting better, in the satsang they say it is okay to take a breath inbetween in the beginning just keep practicing and it will get better. And of course i also still get distracted that is the whole point of meditation, start seeing it as a win everytime you are able to direct your attention back to breath. While doing the kriya i also feel energy in my hand when doing the mudra, also pressure in the forehead. Much love
I'm having my transmission step this weekend, I can't wait. since I just hit my rock bottom the beginning of this year, I lost the meaning of life, I am picking myself up piece my piece by following spiritual teachers, Sadhguru is someone I just stopped listening to for many years until today I was suffering, I have never experienced this intensive emotions in my life, the misery, everything I do now is to stop suffering. The other day as I was walking I felt extremly lonely but I started telling myself to connect with everything, I touched the tree and suddenly tears burst out from my eyes, since that moment I felt a sense of connection with everything, and also I can't stop smiling and also crying, the sensation in my body is almost like I'm tipsy with alcohol, just happy ( much deeper than that), it lasted for like 30 mins... this feeling was actually before the initiation, I don't know what will happen after the initiation but I am looking forward to it
during that 30 mins, I stopped having fears , fears in general, when there’s no fear, I feel I have compassion and unconditional love for everything and everyone, I forgave, knowing they only knew what they knew at the moment, there’s no power struggles because I’m seeing it in a higher consciousness When I have fears, I felt like everyone hates me or judging me or wish the worst out of me, but when I have no fears, no matter what they think of me, I still have unconditional love for them because i know they’re just in fears. but that was only in that 30 mins, the next day, some of the anxiety and fears and thought patterns came back again

I just started my mandala, although I haven't felt much difference but there are subtle things like I don't smack the bugs anymore (except for mosquitoes but that too I feel can feel right in my heart when I smack it) it's like I can see them as life and not bugs..although the initiation day wasn't a very extraordinary experience like many others probably had, but I'm going to stick to my Sadhana and trust the process. The fluttering part is still difficult to do but with time that too will probably get better.
Don't worry, see Shambhavi is not designed for a specific experience. It is merely a tool so that over time as you practice it, your mind, emotion, body and energy will align the way you want.

Just got initiated by Sadhguru here in Toronto this weekend and since I’m doing it at home the meditation has been pleasant and it’s almost nothing is happening really. Perhaps other than vibration and energy slightly moving arnd the spine. Slightly! I am so thankful for your channel as it’s allowing the rest of us to clearly understand the details of what’s happening. So happy for you. 🙏🏻
I used to do it twice, better the preparation the more malieable the body becomes. Your breath will drop heavily, your nose won't be stuffy. However, if there's a lot of pain, do the preparation slowly. Otherwise it is best to do it twice. Basically before starting your kriya, it's better to do prep asanas.

The more involved you are the better it gets. And yes absolutely because before in a way I did it like a routine. Now I just give myself totally to it. And it is such a beautiful experience... I'm sure you experienced it as well. Just be super involved, don't even think about it as much. 🙏🏼
May i ask, are you dealing with any particular disease/condition that is a bit more "abnormal" or difficult compared to the majority of people that you are looking to get a relief from? I'm asking because i myself do, and i started the program not long ago, so i guess i'm sort of experimenting... (haven't even reached step 7 yet)

I have became more stupid because intellect has gone down. I suppose whatever garbage i collected till now is cleared, and I am truly just looking now without any presumptuous ideas. Work is steady. I don't feel stress at all. I am focused. These are all however.... Very small benefits atleast for me. Because what it actually is... Is beyond words. It's pure experience.

Yes it is. Check out reviews of other people who did the online program. See initiation is exactly the same. There's no question about it. You are the one who needs to be open and willing to give dedication as well.

I am a degree student and have my finals from a day after tomorrow and it will end by the end of December and most precisely I have to start with it on 1st Jan or so. My main problem is that from past few years I have been very anxious and fearful of anything like even someone's disease or anything makes me scarred. And so I really want to get away from all these things. I myself do yoga everyday but my thoughts really are non linear it just goes anywhere and makes me fearful. It's been very tough to be in that phase bcz of which I also get regular headaches. I hope it can benefit me 🤧💌

There's shambhavi mudra, which is the video you are mentioning about. It is only 5 minutes and great to start. Then there's shambhavi mahamudra kriya, which is taught during the inner engineering program. This practice takes about 21 minutes. Personally for me, I started with Isha kriya and that the 5 minutes shambhavi mudra videos. I did that for about 6-8 months and then registered for inner engineering to deepen my experience.

@@kajalthakur7150 I just listen to Sadhguru chanting it and I remember that. See if you want to do chanting, I would recommend chanting brahmananda swaroopa chant from Sadhguru. That chant is energized in a very powerful way by Sadhguru. That's one of the things I did in 2018. Brahmananda swaroopa chant is on UA-cam. You just chant along with Sadhguru.
Can you plzz explain little about mahamudra kriya whether we have to focus only on pineal gland or our breathing as well .. because i dont get my focus easily on breathing,,so i am confused whether i should get enrolled for initiation or not.
Just go through the program. 7steps inner engineering, enroll in it. I tried doing it myself, but it's smart to follow a proper structure rather than taking forever to reinvent the wheel.
Hello i want to ask. Im about to start online inner enginneering and i want to be initiated into shambhavi later. I just want to know if you chant something during shambhavi practice ? Im asking because im looking to do my shambhavi early in the morning before school. Everyone is sleeping in that time and i know many people do it in morning too, so do you chant loudly during it, or do you even chant something? Thank you :)
There's a part where you're Aum chanting. And I can relate with you so much because I had work early and I didn't wanted to wake up my parents. However you are not chanting loudly, you will learn that there's a whole process and way to chant. It's not about loudness, it's about how to chant it. Which you will learn. So anyways, don't worry you will not wake up anyone. When you learn it, focus on how to chant it properly rather than loudly. I've done Shambhavi sometimes in night time too without any problems.

@ yes you are not murmuring ofcourse but it's not too too loud either. You will notice when you are learning it, it's about finding that right volume for you which will help. If volume is lower but you have the necessary attention, you will still feel the vibration. So you will explore as you go along. And yes keep us updated!!
Shambhavi is not for that purpose. I'm married and my wife also practices the practice. The purpose of shambhavi is to move from compulsiveness to consciousness. Taking one aspect and deriving conclusions is of no value at all. No growth happens that way.
Sadhguru is not stressing about celibacy because 1.anyway those who experience shambhavi, eventually become celibate slowly .I mean chances are more . 2. If Sadhguru told celibacy is inevitable for mukti or ...,then many people won't even practice shambhavi . If you are a celibate for more than 3 months then you feel you are clean from inside and you overcame most powerful force on earth . Definitely celibacy acceralates the effectiveness of shambhavi atleast 2x .

When you do flutter breathing, do you consciously try to breath out from the lungs (short breaths though) ? Sometime I just realize I am breathing from my stomach.
Good question, I'll look into it too actually. I try to just focus on the edge of my nose and go for the flutter. Sometimes it happens from stomach too and sometimes it doesn't. Idk exactly what is supposed to happen, but one thing is that the flutter should happen quick on the edge of the nose. If you would like to confirm, please email the support team on their website. 🙏🏼
The Mandala is 40 days, 2 times. Then after that 1 time everyday. I have done it that way. However, if you want to do it 2 times everyday, you can do it. 🙏🏽
Great Video. Thanks for sharing your experience. I have recently started doing Shambhavi. The most striking difference i noticed was when I tried it for the first time at the center (ie when I was initiated). But since then when I am doing it at home, I feel nothing. I dont know if i am doing it right. My main purpose or expectation from this is to bridge the gap between planning and action. Most of my knowledge and plans have helped others more than me and I feel like my inability to act has let me down. I am meeting up with my group and instructor for my first Shambhavi correction session tomorrow. But any suggestions or advice?
There's a video of sadhguru, in that he says that if nothing is happening, it's the best happening. The reason is because the practice is not designed for physical experience. It's bringing a certain sense of fluidity in your energies. And Trust me there's a lot of people who want to get to the stage of nothingness. I suggest you watch the video. I would follow the practice as it is. I remember having the same issue as well. But for first 40 days, just push it. Then it is only once anyways. We all are busy with so many things. It is time that we get busy with our inner nature now. 🙏🏼👍🙏🏼

Namaskaram, Eating non-veg in general is not recommended because meat stays in your system for more than 48-72 hours. Which is very degenerate towards your well-being. Food should come out of the digestive system within 8-10 hours max if you eat cooked vegetables. Also the amount of acidic work your stomach has to do to digest it, is too much. So if you feel the urge to have it, try to resist it, because I had the same thing for me when I started too. Now I see the harm it is has done to me, so I don't want to continue anymore. So basically the science is that if meat stays let's say outside for 72 hours, it is rotten. So you do not want this rotting to happen INSIDE your stomach bag. Hope that helps. 🙏
@@shubham.papnai thoughts doesn't matter at all, I'm doing it for 8 months now and still I have thoughts coming and going. Do not try to do anything fancy or try to make anything happen. Just let the thought come and go. Like a breeze. So in short, it doesn't matter.
It is the initiation and needs a specific type of environment to experience full benefits. Just doing the movements of full Kriya doesn't have any effect. Pranam 🙏🏽

Shambhavi is not designed to fulfill our experience expectations. It is there to slowly bring fluidity into the energy system. As sadhguru says, If nothing happens, it's the best thing that happens.

Have you done IE yourself to come to this conclusion.My experience I state here: After Shambhavi mandala first visit I made to Ashram to visit Dhyanalinga. It was a amavasya -No moon day. There was commotion at the entrance and a volunteer anna said you can offer milk to Dhyana linga. I bought a litre of milk and went inside climbed the ladder offered the milk and got down. My legs became weak. My brother was waiting outside for me and next 45 minutes I sat in the temple under going ecstatic experience. Some thing in my chest expanded and water was pouring out of my eyes and the whole body under went a thrilling continuous bliss. I was experienceing the milk offered on the Dhyanalinga was actually falling on me. It was unbelievable experience for me.

I don't know about others but I am doing shambhavi from last 4 months now felt 0 changes.Nothing against sadhguru or isha just my experiance.

Back then we went in-person locations. Sadhguru wasn't present there physically.

@@kajalthakur7150 I just listen to Sadhguru chanting it and I remember that. See if you want to do chanting, I would recommend chanting brahmananda swaroopa chant from Sadhguru. That chant is energized in a very powerful way by Sadhguru. That's one of the things I did in 2018. Brahmananda swaroopa chant is on UA-cam. You just chant along with Sadhguru.
Can you plzz explain little about mahamudra kriya whether we have to focus only on pineal gland or our breathing as well .. because i dont get my focus easily on breathing,,so i am confused whether i should get enrolled for initiation or not.
Just go through the program. 7steps inner engineering, enroll in it. I tried doing it myself, but it's smart to follow a proper structure rather than taking forever to reinvent the wheel.

Hello i want to ask. Im about to start online inner enginneering and i want to be initiated into shambhavi later. I just want to know if you chant something during shambhavi practice ? Im asking because im looking to do my shambhavi early in the morning before school. Everyone is sleeping in that time and i know many people do it in morning too, so do you chant loudly during it, or do you even chant something? Thank you :)
There's a part where you're Aum chanting. And I can relate with you so much because I had work early and I didn't wanted to wake up my parents. However you are not chanting loudly, you will learn that there's a whole process and way to chant. It's not about loudness, it's about how to chant it. Which you will learn. So anyways, don't worry you will not wake up anyone. When you learn it, focus on how to chant it properly rather than loudly. I've done Shambhavi sometimes in night time too without any problems.
@@hemjoshitv8858 oh im very glad to hear that :D i have heard from someone that it should not be too silent because you wont create a vibration in your belly, throat, etc... but if it could be done properly silent im very happy
@ yes you are not murmuring ofcourse but it's not too too loud either. You will notice when you are learning it, it's about finding that right volume for you which will help. If volume is lower but you have the necessary attention, you will still feel the vibration. So you will explore as you go along. And yes keep us updated!!

Shambhavi is not for that purpose. I'm married and my wife also practices the practice. The purpose of shambhavi is to move from compulsiveness to consciousness. Taking one aspect and deriving conclusions is of no value at all. No growth happens that way.

Sadhguru is not stressing about celibacy because
1.anyway those who experience shambhavi, eventually become celibate slowly .I mean chances are more .
2. If Sadhguru told celibacy is inevitable for mukti or ...,then many people won't even practice shambhavi .
If you are a celibate for more than 3 months then you feel you are clean from inside and you overcame most powerful force on earth .
Definitely celibacy acceralates the effectiveness of shambhavi atleast 2x .
Is upa yoga necessary or prep asana + kriya is enough ?
Prep asanas + kriya is perfectly good. Upa yoga is your choice, if you have enough time, you can but it is not mandatory.

You don't have to change the diet too much. Inner engineering will show you which foods are better for wellbeing but in the end it's all your choice.
When you do flutter breathing, do you consciously try to breath out from the lungs (short breaths though) ? Sometime I just realize I am breathing from my stomach.
Good question, I'll look into it too actually. I try to just focus on the edge of my nose and go for the flutter. Sometimes it happens from stomach too and sometimes it doesn't. Idk exactly what is supposed to happen, but one thing is that the flutter should happen quick on the edge of the nose.

The Mandala is 40 days, 2 times. Then after that 1 time everyday. I have done it that way. However, if you want to do it 2 times everyday, you can do it. 🙏🏽
But the mandala is only 40 days how 6 months ?
First 40 days, you do kriya 2 times a day. Then 6 months, once a day. Then continue doing it once a day from there.

I have recently started doing Shambhavi. The most striking difference i noticed was when I tried it for the first time at the center (ie when I was initiated). But since then when I am doing it at home, I feel nothing. I dont know if i am doing it right. My main purpose or expectation from this is to bridge the gap between planning and action. Most of my knowledge and plans have helped others more than me and I feel like my inability to act has let me down.
I am meeting up with my group and instructor for my first Shambhavi correction session tomorrow. But any suggestions or advice?
There's a video of sadhguru, in that he says that if nothing is happening, it's the best happening. The reason is because the practice is not designed for physical experience. It's bringing a certain sense of fluidity in your energies. And Trust me there's a lot of people who want to get to the stage of nothingness. I suggest you watch the video. I would follow the practice as it is. I remember having the same issue as well. But for first 40 days, just push it. Then it is only once anyways. We all are busy with so many things. It is time that we get busy with our inner nature now. 🙏🏼👍🙏🏼

Hello can we eat nonveg during mandala
Namaskaram,
Eating non-veg in general is not recommended because meat stays in your system for more than 48-72 hours. Which is very degenerate towards your well-being. Food should come out of the digestive system within 8-10 hours max if you eat cooked vegetables. Also the amount of acidic work your stomach has to do to digest it, is too much. So if you feel the urge to have it, try to resist it, because I had the same thing for me when I started too. Now I see the harm it is has done to me, so I don't want to continue anymore. So basically the science is that if meat stays let's say outside for 72 hours, it is rotten. So you do not want this rotting to happen INSIDE your stomach bag. Hope that helps. 🙏

@@shubham.papnai thoughts doesn't matter at all, I'm doing it for 8 months now and still I have thoughts coming and going. Do not try to do anything fancy or try to make anything happen. Just let the thought come and go. Like a breeze. So in short, it doesn't matter.

Shambhavi is not designed to fulfill our experience expectations. It is there to slowly bring fluidity into the energy system. As sadhguru says, If nothing happens, it's the best thing that happens.

Have you done IE yourself to come to this conclusion.My experience I state here: After Shambhavi mandala first visit I made to Ashram to visit Dhyanalinga. It was a amavasya -No moon day. There was commotion at the entrance and a volunteer anna said you can offer milk to Dhyana linga. I bought a litre of milk and went inside climbed the ladder offered the milk and got down. My legs became weak. My brother was waiting outside for me and next 45 minutes I sat in the temple under going ecstatic experience. Some thing in my chest expanded and water was pouring out of my eyes and the whole body under went a thrilling continuous bliss. I was experienceing the milk offered on the Dhyanalinga was actually falling on me. It was unbelievable experience for me.
